Excellent, extremely tasty food. We had the veal schnitzel and venison filet and both were superb and accompanied by incredibly tasty small sides. Fair prices, not cheap but not too high either. Great value. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

The biggest difference between old D35 and new D35 is that the service is now really good! Food is decent and they went out their way to make a vegan option although initially I was told it wasn’t going to be possible. There must be a great chef in the kitchen. Everything we tried had been carefully prepared and perfectly balanced for the taste, nutrition and health. Their wine selection was really good and service was attentive and very friendly. They were casting you but you do not feel that. You only understand it when you need them to order something.

I got the concept wrong, as my husband and I went there after a long day looking for comfort food. 😅 Although everything we ate was delicious, the prices are a bit high to get the equivalent of a full meal + drinks. My chanterelle pasta was a bit too salty too (matching the bill). I recommend it for a after work drink, snack though.

We were there during a busy weekend. The food was great, the staff were professional and the place was terribly undermanned. A person can only do that much, no matter how well trained. The service level suffered a lot due to what we observed as too low manning. If the management shape up and staff up this place has potential of being really good.

Busy night, failing service, the waitress did not forward our information about fish being partly raw and inedible to management. Very expensive for not great cooking, normally love the food here but not just not consistent on this night unfortunately.

Vibrant buzzing atmosphere. Food was good as was the service. Easy to get to. Good place to start a night out or have a fun meal with friends.

Drottningatan 35 is an upscale, laid back dining experience in close vicinity to, but not on, the private docks. The menu says to pick two to three starter dishes per person as tapas. Do this only if you are very hungry or plan on not having a main. The starters are only slightly smaller than the main courses, though of course less varied on each platter. We did not love how the edamame were drenched in hoisin sauce but we also did not hate it, and an entire four wet wipes were supplied in the same basket. Another big draw is the proximity to the harbor, only a short distance behind the waterfront establishments, the big bright space and cozy almost upstate New York furnishings, and finally how part of the wall opens up to the street, giving you an outdoor experience indoors. The street can sadly be fairly noisome, but that's what you get for wanting to be outside, inside. Since the closure of fine French Moulain Rouge inspired restaurant downtown, Drottningatan 35 is set to become the next best compromise between luxury and affordability without going too far into theme territory.
