Very cool unique spot friendly and they have a great selection of draft choices. During the winter darker beers but still have some light options

Beer Taps
A very laid back local beer bar. They started brewing their own small batch beers, earlier this year. The other night I tried their red, and it was excellent. They have weekly trivia, and bands from jazz to rock on the weekends. The crowd is an unpretentious mix of Pantego and beyond locals, leaning towards a more mature crowd. Also so of the friendliest bartenders you will find. The have about 35-40 drink options that rotate somewhat. You are apt to find anything from a apple brandy barrel aged imperial stout, to a blackberry mead, and plenty in between.

The first bartender we meet here was Nathan. He was very welcoming and friendly. He suggested several drinks that were all the best tasting beers I have ever drank. Always a warm welcoming fun experience.

Very understated bar but with a quirky, friendly vibe. They have live music here often and a pretty good selection of beer and mead on tap.
The bartender was very friendly and upbeat.
Great staff with a friendly, relaxed vibe. Great beer selection, including home grown creations.

Beer Taps
I got engaged here (to metal music that may or may not have been selfish promotion [or lazy, selfish preference ] of Dooley, the barkeep's band) it was fantastic. More specifically, I met my now husband here. It's been my favorite local spot with local beers on tap in a diy-how-did-they-even-pass-inspection type of place. Scott/Scotty/Biff is the best barkeep, and while he no longer drinks (aside from an ocassional scotch I believe) , he's knowledgeable, and amicable. I like this place so much I used to sit in a corner and study with a beer.
