Hey its a small place with a big attitude!!!!! Straight up the best burger I've had in a long time. We had to find parking but let me tell you it's family owned and operated and they are about business. The fries are awesome too. Two words..EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE. I’m new to the city and this place is the place to be. Zanne has a personality out of this world and she exemplifies great customer service. If you're a fan of "hole-in-the-wall" burger joints, look no further than Downtown Burgers! This place is the GO TO for amazing fresh to order burgers! I can not say enough good things about this place. I've known the lady working there for ages. She's cool as all get out. She just automatically knows my order without me telling her now. LOL! Their fries are spectacular, and the burgers are just downright AMAZING!!!!! I love this place. I grab a burger here quite often and have always been pleased with the service as well as the food. Long ago, when I first found the place years ago, I sampled the different menu items, and now my choice is the triple farm cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese. Every time I order. Simple burger joint offering diner style burgers. Double cheeseburger and fries were great and the price was affordable for the amount of food you get. Service was excellent and I really appreciated being asked how many were eating when I ordered the family size fry. If you are looking for a classic burger I'd definitely recommend stopping by. The burger was served as ordered.The French fries were generous in serving size and flavorful.There was no place to sit and eat our food inside .There were two old wooden picnic tables on the side of the building.There was debris in the area that needed to be cleaned up.The picnic tables had old wood and I got a splinter in my hand.The tables need to be painted to be safe for people.Will make other choices in Joplin for burgers in the future Service Take out Meal type Brunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2

Great little place. The burger was delicious, great beef flavor and the meat to bum/cheese/condiment ratio was perfect. The fries were also delicious, most restaurants fail when serving frozen fries but these were crispy and seasoned wonderfully. I highly recommend this restaurant! Downtown burger joint that's perhaps the best in Joplin, surely the best burgers downtown, if it's open you should stop in, standing room only because all they do is burgers and they didn't just start, thier methods are time tested and fine tuned. American comfort food is exactly what you'll find here. There's a couple of picnic tables in the back on the side if you want to eat right away. Worth a stop and there's daily and weekly specials too Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10
