Great breakfast or lunch joint! Absolutely ridiculous amount of food for the money. I'm a big guy and I have trouble packing away the regular size omelette, potatoe side, and bread. In town for a volleyball tournament. Googled good lunch restaurants. Followed the 4 1/2 star reviews. Our waiter, Carlos, is on point. He was polite and diligent. Food is delicious and arrived in timely fashion. Staff is dedicated to customer service. Home made jam was so good we got some to go. Portions are sufficient and not over priced. Home made fries and browns are DELICIOUS. Worth it. Thank you Carlos for your hard work!! First time and the experience was great. There was a power outage and this was the only place with power. We were told the servers were limited so service would be slow but that's not our experience. I have never been disappointed with Dougs until today. Ordered a bloody Mary and my food showed up before the drink did. We had to ask for utensils. Sat and stared at our plates while waiting for a fork. The hash browns were flavorless. The biscuit tasted like flour and water. Tried to pay using the QR code and it wouldn't work. My Huevos Socorro we're amazing such great flavor. Son loved his chocolate chip pancakes and thick bacon 🥓 he shared with me. Bacon was cooked perfectly. Friendly, clean place with tasty food! Truly a GREAT breakfast/brunch hang with my family. We arrived around 0900 and immediately was escorted to a table. Server was very friendly and explained that the espresso machine was not working. Food tasted great and this is definitely place we’ll visit when in town to visit our daughter at UNC. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $10–20
