Food was great! The wings and calamari were delicious- the walleye fingers were the cleanest fish I have had in a long time! Service was not great- bartender greeted our table with an attitude and told us our server was coming. After about 7 minutes our server regreeted us. We did not receive our bread after asking 3 times for it. Atmosphere was new for me! I walked through the doors and smelt the chicken smoking over the fire right away. Everything I had here, steak filet with fingerling potatoes, tasted under seasoned and bland. The price was really borderline for how good the food was. Everything just felt cheap, or simply not well prepped. And the price wasn't obscene, but it definitely wasn't inexpensive. I would go to an Outback Steakhouse in the future. Was there for dinner and it was a cool interior, and very busy so I thought it would be great. But the service was some of the worst I've had in years. The server seemed very new and like she wanted to get out of there as soon as possible - she didn't know anything about the wines, forgot several things like silverware and lemons, had to be asked to fill up water more than once, and ultimately asked if we wanted our checks while someone was still eating! It's a place that has a nice cozy atmosphere. The waiter messed up the drink order once, but corrected it quickly and was otherwise attentive and available. The chicken was cooked and seasoned well. The ribs however were dry and chewy and the barbecue sauce could have used more punch. My wife got the parpadelle and thought it also was bland. Additionally, the menu is pretty light on options, but hits most of the classics. I was so happy we still have one of these in MN!! It has been years since I’ve been to one and I always remembered how good the food was and This place did not disappoint. We got there right at opening first ones in at 11 and with in 30 minutes the place was packed. I got the braised lamb and it was so tender no knife needed. I only wished we didn’t live so far from this place otherwise I be a regular! Will definitely come again when I’m the area. Locals don’t take this place for granted! Their food is is fantastic. I had their buffalo wings & calamari for an appetizer. Sooo good! My friend ordered the Cobb salad and said it was amazing & their chicken pasta was really good too. I’ve also had their chicken & ribs and they’re fantastic! Staff is very friendly but the waiters seem to be a little flustered and overwhelmed when it’s busy. Very good food here. So far I have not bad anything that wasn't good. Their wings are smoked and so good. Walleye fingers are really tasty too. Breading was light and flakey. Cool atmosphere and low key and fairly quiet. Staff very kind and check in a lot. Definitely place to check out. One of my favorite places because they never disappoint! I’ve been here multiple times over the years and I swear each visit is better then the last. The best part? Service is always excellent. The restaurant is clean and the food is divine. This recent visit, I decided to try the fish tacos and were sad when they were gone. I know the chicken wings are also a staple at this place and highly recommend them. The worst part? Prices can be a tad high for some but if you want a great meal, it’s worth the cost.
