This is an iconic donut shop with great service. The donuts are standard fare with a few unique offerings. The shop is small and the customer area not very conducive to forming a line. One older customer walked in, went straight to the counter and didn't even acknowledge we were waiting. We weren't in a hurry so no big deal, but when the next customer walked in we had to make sure we stepped up to ensure our place in line. The staff was interactive, pleasant and informative. The size of the shop is its only drawback, but, if you are patient and polite, you will get to order from a sizable assortment of the best doughnuts Ive ever sampled. Boston creme, cream cheese filled, raspberry, red velvet, double chocolate are just some of the flavors available, and all are moist and fresh. The servers and bakers are all friendly, patient, and efficient, so you can get your dozen (or more) promptly and be on your way. Best donuts around. My wife and son have been having a craving for the chocolate long John's. We love the you can get fresh donuts in the evening as they are not morning people. I'm on a diet but still could not leave without a fresh donut, unfortunately my favorite was not made yet apple fritters but a good old glazed hit the spot instead. First time there and literally the best donuts I've ever had. I'm not entirely sure i didnt have an out of body experience, it was so good! Super light and fluffy (to a degree you will be genuinely surprised), great flavor, and the cake donuts especially (had a red velvet) is amazingly soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. I know how it sounds, but these donuts were an EXPERIENCE!!! Strongly recommend!!!

I was kind of surprised how friendly they were they actually was grateful I was there as a customer and that's hard to find in St Louis anymore not only was the customer service excellent and they were so friendly The donuts were incredible I was told how good this place was I wanted to try it and they hit a home run I ordered a variety and my favorite is anything with caramel or cake donuts and every single one was a home run obviously I had lots left over I even ate them the day after cold out of the refrigerator and they were fantastic I can't tell you how could you donuts are and how nice these people are I highly recommend donut Drive-In I will be back as a customer and the prices were reasonable I ordered 18 donuts and it came to just over 20 bucks which is fantastic that's a great price I ordered some cake donuts and I ordered some fancy ones so I'm very happy with the price. Love the place been coming here for years. My daughter picked up some donuts for me because I work late at night and there was a hair in my donuts. I went back there 10 minutes after they closed and talked to a gentleman and he didn't even offer to replace my donuts after there was a hair in my donuts. I also called the line Left a message so we'll see if someone calls me back about the situation.
