This is a great stop for the kids on their way to school, it was obvious that’s who they cater to when I popped in to get a donut this morning. Donuts were not good and tasted like they had been sitting there for a couple of days.
I like that they open early and are open every day. We walk to the village and stop here for coffee in the early mornings, including Sundays. Coffee is good and not expensive. What more can you ask for?
Their customer service is always terrible. I stood in line while they ignored me for ten minutes and took three other customers before me. The cashier's excuse was that they had been there before me, but only one had been ready to check out before me and the other two were still browsing. They also hardly ever greet you or speak to you more than to give you your total and have in the past completely left the floor for ten or more minutes and left no one to take care of customers. I don't know how often they cook the donuts there because on more than one occasion I've gotten what seemed like 2 day old stale ones. A friend of mine at work said he thinks they buy them at the end of other donut shop's business days and serve them as "fresh" the next day. All I know is I'm disappointed every time I go in and today was the last straw. I'll leave this place to the high schoolers with no cars who don't have much of a choice to go anywhere else.
The one star is for the one decent cashier who works on Saturdays but the short, dark haired girl who works weekdays never provides anything resembling good or even half decent customer service.
Not a whole lot of selection.....I wish they had Soft Bear Claws w Almond paste inside and slivered almonds on top. Also Bite size Creme Puffs w slight chocolate drizzle on top.
Then I can give 5 stars but need to change out water container.
More than good donuts. They have a plethera of snacks and drinks. They make concoctions like smoothies etc. I hear they make great sandwiches too. They are right behind Mullahey Ford.
