Took a long time come take our orders. Every dishes are so salty. How are they still open? Not authentic Chinese food. Salt must have been very cheap so they add more to the dishes. Salty green beans, salty braised pork belly, and the duck sliders were unproportionate. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

As a person who grew up with Dongpo restaurant in Beijing go over 25 years, I am really full of emotions. My family from Vancouver to visit Universal Studios, and then accidentally discovered that restaurant that I had not eaten in almost five years. I am very happy to see that our real chinese food is accepted by many foreign friends. I hope it will get better and better. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A bit surprised to see a Chinese restaurant on the way to Universal studio. Glad we tried it after a long day of rides and heat. The food was served fast. The stuff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend it ☺️ Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This was a place we stopped at while we were on the outside of universal studios at the walk, everything was booked out, but we were able to score a table here and were seated in minutes. We ordered chicken fried rice and Mongolian Beef, both meals were fantastic, the beef was sweet, spicy and had a fantastic flavour its a 9.5 out of 10 for this one from Don&ShonaEats. It's a Don&ShonaEats recommended place to try. We were visiting from Australia and we have a food review channel on YouTube called Don&ShonaEats, If you are heading our way to the Gold Coast Queensland Australia check out our channel. Food was really pricey, but to be expected when dining at universal. Wok fried green beans were very delicious and flavorful. Dan dan noodles originally come dry with sauce on the side, these were in broth. They were tasty though. Service was average, had to remind staff to bring white rice that we ordered, but they were friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was peaceful and not crowded. I recently checked out Dongpo Kitchen, and it's totally beyond my expectation! As soon as I walked in, the vibe was inviting, making the whole afternoon memorable. The staff was not just nice but also knew their menu, hooking me up with some suggestions and answering our allergy queries. The food at Dongpo was good. Every dish felt fresh, blending flavors and textures in a way that just hit the spot. They nailed the presentation too. And about the menu – loads of choices for different tastes. What got me hooked was the quality of the food. Whether it was a tasty starter, a spot-on main course, or a sweet treat, Dongpo Kitchen left a lasting taste in my mouth. And the service was good. Quick, friendly, and you could tell they were genuinely stoked about giving an awesome dining experience. I'd totally recommend it to anyone up for a good dining experience. Me and my family really enjoyed this restaurant. Keep it up! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch
We came in without a reservation after visiting Universal Studios. We were seated immediately by a very friendly face who gave us a choice between a table and a booth. Clean, bright restaurant with modern decor. Bright descriptive menus with photos, price and portion size. We ordered Sapporo, fried chicken wings, fried prawns, shrimp fried rice and green beans, all delicious with the rice being the favorite! Our food arrived quickly, chicken still sizzling! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely return with friends and family. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is the only Chinese restaurant on Universal Citywalk. Food is normal but a bit tiny. If you are very tired when leaving Universal Studios, your may consider having dinner there. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Edit: Thanks to the owner for the inauthentic copy and paste response you've been slapping on other reviews. My review clearly explains what happened and provided feedback. This restaurant is a joke. I am so disappointed in my experience here. I've had wayyyy better experiences at other locations. Our food came out lukewarm and a little TOO fast. Our fried rice was MUSHY and our chicken looked like it was boiled yesterday. Our mapotofu was creamy????? And too spicy. Like unbearably spicy. And we LIKE spicy. My dandan noodle was interesting... And by interesting, I mean the flavor was odd, and my noodles were overcooked. The pork belly was also awful. I sincerely cannot describe how awful it was. And when we let the server know about our lukewarm and flavorless fried rice and dishes, he responded "So what do you want me to do with it?" Granted, I'd hate my job if I had to serve that to people as well. In summary, absolute waste of money. Expensive price for slop. This location is taking advantage of it's tourist trap location. Check out the pictures :) This is the amount we left at the restaurant. We paid over $100 and didn't take any of it with us. Edit: The owner loves to respond to bad reviews with the excuse of "catching them during a shift change and miscommunication". This place has been receiving the same reviews for over 5 months now. There's absolutely NO WAY that every single bad review is an instance of "miscommunication". Take accountability for your sorry excuse for a restaurant. Do better.
