Spent $27 on 2 tiny gorditas, small elite cup, bean burrito and an horchata. There are no prices on the menu so you don't know what items cost. My son asked for a bean and cheese burrito and confirmed with employees that it would ONLY be beans and cheese. Got home and it's a regular burrito with lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and beans instead of meat (see photo)... The elote flavor was really bad and I couldn't eat it. The gorditas were tiny and not enough cheese so they fell apart when you picked them up. The Pastor in them was flavorless, definitely not typical pastor at all, more like plain pork. Was excited to check them out as there are no good true Taquerias in town but this one may be the worst so far unfortunately... Service Take out Meal type Lunch Food: 1

I know you can throw a rock and hit decent Mexican food but Dona Jacky is a step above the rest. Located in the cute town of Waxahachie, Texas ( which is worth a visit as well) I loved that it is a family run business with everyone involved serving food, authentic drinks and sweets. The Al pastor and Carne asada were great with tender meat and the right amount of flavor. The beans were fresh and the salsa ran from mild to my lips are burning 2 days later but I can’t stop using it. So give it a try if you are in the area you will also love it Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Recommended dishes Fresh Cucumber and Lime Water

I went here with a friend as we were looking for a healthier option to drink. It was our first time here, and the customer service was good. We ordered guava juice to drink as it was a fruit I would snack on in the Philippines when I was younger. When they made our drinks, they didn't take out the seeds. This made the drink hard to go down. It would have been better if they had strained it. The drinks were overly sweet and would probably have been better with a fraction of the sugar they used. It's not a bad place to go, and it has the potential to be better. I took the drink home and strained it. I gave it to my daughter and she loved it. Today was our first time visiting! Found this gem after a TikTok vid, Definitely impressed by the variety of snacks available. The snacks along with everything they have to offer are freshly made to order. Since it was our 1st visit we we're offered samples of their homemade agua frescas. Very hard to decide with all the refreshing flavors they have available. The staff are very humble dwn to earth well worth the 35 plus min drive, you will not go wrong with stopping by & trying all the antojos & agua fresca they have available. Will visit soon!

I’ve visit this place when it was very small and I really like their Aguas Frescas. It’s a bit of a drive from Desoto but in my opinion it’s worth it. The location has changed and the new place is amazing. The combinations are a bit timid but you’ll be surprised how much flavor they have. Today I got a sope and a Gordita pretty much the same ingredients but the shape of the tortilla is different. They’re delicious 😋 the variety of flavors on the Aguas frescas many to choose from. Some of my favorites are the agua the coco and the Mangorusa 😋. Clean place with friendly service.

El Que Chido is a little hidden gem inside Dona Jacky is THE BOMB!! Home made tortillas both corn and flour!! This is NOT Tex-mex. Recipes from Mexico made with integrity and flavor. Plus… their trompito is amazing!!! The family duo of Dona Jacky and El Que Chido makes this spot attractive. Pina Colada is amazing and we buy by the gallon. Always fresh and enough coco to bring out the Pina. Tacos and Gordian are always a hit, fresh and always good flavor. Elotes are just right, add-ins are fresh and each bite makes you want another. New management is just as good. Keeping up the culture. I will continue to be back. I got 3 breakfast tacos with homemade flour tortillas. Ham egg and cheese Spinach egg and cheese Chorizo egg and cheese. I also got the strawberries and cream aqua frescas. Everything was so good and everyone was so friendly 👍👍 Service Take out Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Great customer service and the place was very clean. The fruit juices were all very fresh and handmade. The arroz con leche was gritty, way too sweet and the rice was a bit undercooked. The aguas were great (except the Hibiscus 🌺 water was a bit too sweet). The fresas con crema (fresh strawberries with creme) were delicious. The gorditas were OK. The masa was a bit dry, but the taste was good. We had other snacks and they were all good. We'll probably be back to try something else from the menu. There is plenty to choose from!! This was just your overall Mexico experience. They got so many Mexican chips, drinks and even fruit. The price was pretty average nothing crazy. They were really nice and fast, recommended going for a snack, or even dinner one day. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person $1–10
