We went here last night for dinner and it certainly lived up to the reviews it has! We had an amazing meal, great drinks and the service was awesome. Great menu for sharing, most things on this section being 9-12€ My husband said it was the best meal he has had in Portugal! There’s a reason why the reviews are so good. Went there last night and it’s the best meal I’ve had in the Algarve! The food was extremely fresh, cocktails were on point, the service was impeccable, and for Peaky Blinders fans they have a huge mural of Arthur Shelby when you get in👌🏼 Highly highly highly recommend! I had the Octopus Carpaccio and the red Tuna Tartar to start, followed by Tuna balls. The cocktails were incredible, especially the 10 year old Port Negroni. It’s also in a cute quiet neighbourhood where you can enjoy a lovely romantic meal. Thank me later! I loved it! Food was delicious and the service was great! For sure a hidden gem in Lagos! The desert I took was a bit special, but that was my taste, not the restaurants fault. Incredible find in the city of Lagos – my favorite restaurant of the entire trip. From service to cuisine, it's truly top-notch. Highly recommend the Tuna Tartare for starters and the Magret Canard for the main course; the flavor complexity is outstanding and not overwhelming. The Caramel Fondant dessert is a perfect finale. Our total bill for two, including drinks and dessert, came to 61€. Looking forward to revisiting next time I'm in Lagos! Brilliant place to kick off our holiday. Service was brilliant, along with the duck, highest compliments to the chef. Tuna balls were also to die for. While we didn't stay for desert, I'm sure that would of been equally great. We had an overall perfect experience at Don Gull. The service was very attentive and welcoming. In a cozy atmosphere, we enjoyed a couple of their amazing tapas. We were especially blown away by the tuna dishes and the chocolate cake dessert. Everything was full of flavor, just to die for. Thanks so much to the team for an unforgettable evening. We found this place on Google Maps after finishing a long walk along the ocean front trails. We ate Deep Fried Tuna Balls, Crazy Shrimp, Gaspachio, and Burrata.
