The definition of diamond in the rough or a “hidden gem” for Downtown Augusta. It’s easy to pass by this hidden bakery when traversing around town, but once you decide to stop in, you’ll be sure to stop by every time you’re passing by. Inside the bright pink house is a wonderfully decorated interior that features a cafe and bakery, as well as an amply decorated seating area. There is a wide variety of goods available for purchase, from a variety of fresh baked pastries, both sweet and savory, to freshly brewed coffee, pre packaged lunch’s and spreads, and even ice cream. The owner is at the fore front of the business and she is readily available to meet the needs of any inquiring customer. It is clear that his place is more than a business for profit to the owner, this is her passion project. There was nothing but smiles on everyone’s faces, and I couldn’t help but smile myself. Definitely a must visit.
