Our favourite place on the whole island. We found it by mistake as we were heading for the Godfather bar next door which was closed. The owner is a really chilled out guy who built the place up by hand over about 10 years. The beach and sea outside of it is clear and free from kelp and sea grass. There are hammocks hanging from the palm trees and the music vibe is just the right balance of chill and groove. The drinks are average price but good quality. His rum punch is deceptive. It tastes weak but certainly isnt, be careful you dont get drawn in. His food is freshly cooked to order and delicious. Without doubt the best we had in St Kitts and Nevis just be prepared to wait as he fires up the ovens and creates everything fresh and from scratch. On one visit we saw his daily order of fresh fish being delivered and it is very fresh. If you want the proper Caribbean beach bar experience go here you will not be disappointed. We had one day on St. Kitts so we had a taxi drop us off at Discovery Bar on a very quiet Sunday afternoon. It was the perfect setting to sit in the shade, play some games and drink home-made rum punch on the beach. The owner is fun to talk to. If you want an old-school, Caribbean beach experience this is a good choice. There are other bars up and down the beach if you want something bigger. We still had time to taxi to the ferry at the southeastern end of the island, go to Nevis, have lunch and take a different ferry back to Basseterre.

My wife and I enjoyed a Friday afternoon on the beach, including lunch and drinks here. It's super authentic. The food was delicious and the drinks were cold. I asked for the Carib Blue (6%) and he had it. My wife had the coconut shrimp, and I had the ginger wings and french fries. Total price was $42 US with two beers and two Tings. Morsi, the owner, is a very friendly man who runs this place all by himself. He makes the drinks, cooks the food, cleans his section of the beach front... An amazing 1 man band! The beach itself is stunning, easily one of the best St Kitts and Nevis has to offer. So to add amazing food to the view is even better! I had his famous wings which truly taste phenomenal and my wife had his coconut shrimp, also very flavorful. The only reason I'm not giving it t stars is the toilet situation. It's not ideal. Other than that the place and the atmosphere is well worth a visit.

Morsi took good care of us while in St. Kitts. Beach chairs, palm trees, fresh snapper for lunch and some great snorkeling rounded out our day here. Highly recommend, 56.00 RT transport from for my wife and I from the cruise pier.

My family grabbed lunch at this beach shack and it was one of if not the worse experiences of my life. We all became violently ill after eating here, and had 24 hours of violent food poisoning. Beware!!! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
