Saw some photos on social media, so we had to stop in during our LA visit. It's located in an industrial area, but was easy to find. The dogs did not disappoint. Freaking loaded! Get the deep fried oreos to top off lunch. I'd eat the whipped topping by the mugful. Unfortunately the service was SLOOOOWWWW. There were a total of 3 people inside, and still took over 40 minutes to get our order to go. I actually ate my entire meal by the time our other order came out. Check out the bathroom wallpaper. Classic!

First walking in I was greeted by Pricilla, such a sweet and informative girl! I’m here for lunch and it’s not packed for it being a Thursday! Food was and hot and is delicious as expected! D.U.I DOG satisfies your cravings of wanting a hot dog, pastrami, & carne asada! Quality and quantity when eating here! Don’t forget to leave a dollar on the wall!

Dirty Chili Fries
Tucked away in an industrial nook of Commerce, Dirt Dog Compound is the laid-back hangout you never knew you needed. The vibe is chill, the prices are reasonable, and the owners clearly have the magic touch.
The place oozes character, with an ambiance that's as unique as it is welcoming. It's refreshing to find a spot that doesn't bank on being flashy or overpriced. Here, it's all about good food and good vibes.
The staff? A+ for friendliness and top-notch customer service. They're the heart of the place, adding to the cool, relaxed atmosphere. Carnita tacos and dirty fries are fire!
Dirt Dog Compound is more than just a spot to grab a bite; it's a little community hub with a killer business model. If you're into hidden gems with genuine character, this is the spot.

Dirty Chili Fries
Dirt Dog is a hidden gem in the middle of an industrial area in the City of Commerce. Sundays seem to attract a local street bike crowd. It also has an open air market with vendors selling their products. The food is delicious and the service matches. Plenty of room in doors and out. Bring the kids! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I've always went to the DT location. This one is closer to home. The vibe is great. Indoor dining, outdoor dining. Very comfortable. Food has always been great. Forgot to take a picture of the inside. But definitely go check it out.

Location...odd, but it works. The food was fantastic. We tried 2 different dogs, tacos, and elotes. I wish we had this place in Northern California. Staff and cooks were on point. Loved the music choice (late 90s/2000s Hip Hop).

Carne Asada Taco
Good old hot dog & American mural style restaurant. This location is new in Commerce. They have good seating spots both inside and outside. Parking lot too.
Churros was exceptional!! I like the corn and elote hot dog too but the churros was far beyond everything else. Mine one was very crispy and not oily. It goes very well with the white cream given together.
This is a newly opened location. My recommendation is to go before it gets busy. The outdoor seating is nice to enjoy in daytime.

Don’t let your eyes be bigger than your stomach, portions are MASSIVE!
Food was great! I’m a picky eater, but they have so many different options it was easy to pick. Plus they can easily take off something if you ask (i asked for the bacon on the side which was no problem!). We didn’t see any ketchup but all you have to do is ask. They have packets in the back + a spicy ketchup that I think they make! Here are the deets regarding the food:
- Dogs: DUI, Snoop, and House graced our table. I personally had the veggie as a House since I don’t eat meat and LOVED it. My bf tried it and said it’s good and he’s not a big fan of veggie options. PS get the lobster roll, it’s like Texas toast!
- Fries: so many options! We got the Carne asada, DUI, Filthy fries. TBH I would even order the fries plain because they were so good. The Filthy fries were a tiny bit spicy for me, but to give you context, I can’t take black pepper.
- Corn: we got the elote. I’d say they were v good, transparently I’ve never had elote before so they were perfect. My bf said “eh ok”. So maybe try the cup?
- Tacos: BOMB. Enough said.
- Dessert: order the deep fried Oreos for the horchata whipped cream. I took my fork and ate that straight no shame.
- Quick service, smelled bomb, and be ready to eat messy!
Overall, A+ but note for anyone who uses a bag, there is no hook in the restroom to hang things.
