I am super proud to do most of my grocery shopping at the Larned Dillons. It doesn't have the selection that some of the larger stores have but I think that all departments are doing a great job. If they don't have what I need, I just ask customer service or the manager and they order it in for me. They have a very low wait time to check out and are super helpful if you can't find that odd item you never buy. The store is clean and well stocked. The checkers are friendly and I have no complaints.
Decided to update my review. I've been ordering grocery delivery through Dillons website for about two years now. My experience had been top shelf until this weekend. I ordered groceries yesterday, 25 March 2023 at 4:43pm with both a Dillons text and a Dillons website confirmation of delivery for 25 March before 9pm. They texted me at 10:25pm, 25 March, rescheduling the delivery for 26 March between 8am-12pm. This morning, 26 March at 5:50am, I received a text from them stating the order was scheduled for delivery today, 26 March, by 12pm. They texted me again at 11:00am that my order was expected to arrive by 1:00pm and apologized for delay/inconvenience. Nothing new until I checked the Dillons website where I discovered that the order had been rescheduled to be delivered by 5:00pm. I contacted customer service via Kroger's Live Chat. I spoke with Ann who was extremely helpful, reference case number xxxxxxxx. She contacted Instacart. She told me that Instacart would have my order delivered tonight. I believe she said 7:30pm. I'm not exactly sure. But I was happy that the grocery order was squared away and that I could expect delivery soon. Ann's participation in this mess was exceptional. I decided to contact the Dillons directly. What a total waste of time that was. I spoke with Eric, some kind of manager. After I explained the chain of events he proceeded to tell me that I needed to call Instacart as he had nothing to do with the order. Wow. They need to do some customer service training for their store managers. This is very possibly the last time I will ever do any business with the store, their company, subsidiaries, or 3rd Party vendors. By the way, it's now 7:55pm 26 March 2023 and the order still has not been delivered and I've not received any communication from them or Instacart. FUBAR. Well done. I ended up canceling my order.
Always find out what you need here. The layout has pretty much been the same for 20 years, so you don't need to search that hard for what you need. The staff will help you if you ask, and the price point is average for the area.
