A one horse town would appreciate this place.. but as a visitor..
Don't expect much
Crumbed mushrooms. At R50-R60
Just 4 small oily Mushroom *literally 4!!!*
Place could do with a cleanup..
Do not try to fool or take advantage of new customers!
The Hog. Machado watering hole with booths for the pub and grub. Drinks fairly priced. Food hearty and filling. Pick your time of day carefully or you may be disappointed. It comes alive from bout 4 in the afternoon from Thursdays and honors the Sabath on Sundays. Bikers most welcome.
Friendly girl behind the bar, but the owner asked us to join them for a drink and then put their drinks on us.
Not comming back, shame, cuz the burgers were nice.
You always have this little voice in the back of your head that says "don't eat pork or chicken at bars in little towns" well I ignored that voice. My wife had a chicken schnitzel with cheese sauce, and I had a 600g ribs. We give that meal a 10 out of 10!!!! We ordered a takeaway pizza for our road trip tomorrow. Served by a young guy by the name of JP. Advised us what was good, attended to us quickly and professionally. Folks if you are driving through and need a pit stop or if you have had a long road trip and you looking for a cold one and a great meal, stop at THE HOG, MACHADORP you won't regret it. A big 2 thumbs up
