Just went across the street to get something to eat. Who ever that person was identifying himself as the manager was so rude, he even discouraged me not to eat there, if we could not meet there expectations on the baked potato. I asked what size were they? he said if your looking for a certain size, then don't buy it here, go somewhere' s else. So I did and went to Rudy's. I was greeted with a smile, then the Sour LEMON this guy was sucking on. I will never go back to Dickey's across the street from where I work. I will travel the 12 minutes to Rudy's and be treated with Respect and Great Customer service. Whoever employed this person, needs to re-access as to why they hired someone who drives your business away. Keeping him behind the counter, will keep you from not making money ( Closure do to not making profit) guess why? Yep, Mr. Sour puss himself. Sorry Mr. Owner on 210 E. Parkwood Dr- Friendswood location, you lost my business. This will also be posted on my Facebook and IG account. Rudy's for the WIN !!!

This was the first opportunity that I had to eat at Dickeys BBQ. One thing that I noticed was the service. The employees were friendly and attentive. The BBQ was good, but not the greatest. I had the sliced brisket sandwich. I would recommend you go to form your own opinion.
Ok here we go... If you have been open for 8 months your crew should be more efficient than what they are. Tonight's crew were very friendly but wow they all seemed so lost. Starting with the temperature of the food all the meat by the time we got through the register was ice cold but the premade sides were smoking hot. The pulled pork sandwich was nice and mushy just like what you would expect from an assissted living home. The Mac and cheese was very gritty from I could only suspect powdered cheese mix from a bag. This is south Texas not Dallas. I would expect BBQ like this in Dallas. The cold sausage had good flavor wish it was at least warm. The loaded mashed potatoes though came from a plastic wrapped storage container were okay. The brisket had good flavor but so cold and sooo tough it was hard to eat. The crew working tonight although seemed lost they deserve 5 stars, the food... though lacking in everything BBQ 2 stars... Over all 3 stars. Like I stated before this isn't Dallas this BBQ could pass there but not here when you have Central Texas BBQ and I hate to say it Killens BBQ. Step up your game fast.
When I inquired why the price was drastically more expensive than the location by my office, the guy behind the counter started to lecture me about his restaurant and I could have my money back and leave. A very “Soup Nazi” vibe in there. I love Dickey’s, I eat it a few times a week, but I won’t be going back to this location. After eating the potato, it was not near as good as the other locations. It was lumpy and the chicken was dry. The entire experience was bad and I encourage you to find a different location or just a different restaurant all together.

I haven't eaten at a Dickey's in probably about 3 years before today. I wanted some Bar-B-Q and this was way closer than Rudy's or Pappas. So I thought I would give it a shot.
I ordered on line and the pictures on the website make it seem like you are getting a decent amount of food, and considering the price from a 2 meat plate is $17.49... I would have hoped so.
Placed the order for a 2 meat plate with double brisket and mac &Cheese... as well as a baked potato with chopped brisket.
Arrived at the pick up time and first thing I noticed was how quiet the place was. No music or any talking. Second thing I noticed was 1 person working behind the counter, no sign of anyone else. Third, the A/C was out... so it was a little warm. Place was empty, only 2 other people in the place... at 12PM. "Lunch rush"
The gentlemen behind the counter just looked up, didn't say anything and went back to cutting meat. Having never been to this location before, I thought there might be a place to pick up... no signs. So after about a minute, I walked up the counter and said I was here to pick up an order. All the gentlemen said was, "I am working on it". Okay.
So I sat and waited about 7 minutes past my pick up time. He said my order was ready, went to pick it up and left. Not much personality, but not rude either. Seemed like he could be doing better things but was stuck at work.
Got home:
The good:
1.) Food was hot.
2.) Brisket was moist.
The bad:
1.) Double brisket on the plate = 1/4 lbs. of brisket I guess. Very under whelming on the amount of meat you get for $17.50.
2.) The sides come in a tiny container, maybe about 3 spoon fulls of mac & cheese.
3.) The potato was also very small... like a regular sized potato you get at the store. Not a jumbo potato. So again, portions were small compared to the $13 price.
4.) Although the brisket was moist, the flavor was flat. Under seasoned.
5.) Bar-B-Q sauce that comes with the meal, also under seasoned and flat tasting. Ended up using Rudy's Bar-B-Q sauce at home.
Overall, not "bad" Bar-B-Q... but "maybe" average Bar-B-Q. Prices are very high compared to the quality of meat and the portion sizes. More of a sub $10 meal than anything. I wouldn't sit and eat here, broken AC and the only staff member there seemed bothered to be there.
Next time I will drive by this place and make the extra 15 minute drive to Rudy's if I am spending $32 for a meal for two.

The WORST customer service I've experienced in a long while. It took forever to place an order. And when finally got the food it was cold. Like REALLY cold!!!
The young man definitely seemed under the influence and the older man just isn't a people person. Wrong business for either one of these men to be in.
Bad food, bad service, and very over priced!!
Won't be back.
I never leave reviews. But everyone that tried it agreed it was not fresh and it was not good. Today I stopped to get food for an event. I ordered a family meal listed at $65 that was supposed to have 2 lbs of meat and 3 sides and rolls. The brisket was not fresh, the rolls were hard uneatable, the sides were ok (macaroni and cheese and green beans were fine) but the potato casserole tasted odd. The chicken had a strange sauce on it like teriyaki not sure what it was, but it was not just plain chicken sliced like the other Dickies do it. I wanted to give them a chance but I am not kidding everyone that tasted it said something. We had left overs cause people didn’t like it. I was the only customer there at noon and there was only one person working and that should have been giving me big red flags. I won’t be going back to Friendswood Dickies

I really enjoyed my lunch! Once again, Very tasteful. Pulled pork sandwich seems to be my fav here. I did the mac n cheese, so delicious and cheesey tasting. I also tried the ceaser salad and it was good also. I got my order to-go so i was dreading how to eat my salad without the mess of mixing, but it was a perfect serving in the cup i was able to close lid and shake up to mix and the dressing was actually enough for me. Im usually greedy with dressings but this was plenty in the small cups. Will return again.
STOP AND READ, read all the reviews this place is so bad save your money, the food was cold, portions were small, ribs and brisket was dry, baked potato was sticky, ribs were small, sausage was just nasty, rolls look like they were not baked, waste of $50 DO NOT EAT HERE!!! AVOID DICKEY'S BBQ!!! IT SUCKS!!!
