On Thursday Nov. 30 2023 around 6pm, I ordered the chicken fried chicken with rice and veggies. My wife had the salted caramel pancake breakfast combo. The chicken fried chicken was overcooked in month old grease and drowning in gravy. The rice was chewy/rubbery, and the veggies had no flavor at all. In my honest opinion, the cook needs to be either retrained or let go. My wife's meal was good, our server and the manager exemplified good customer service. I was able to return the food and receive a refund for my meal. Doubt I will be visiting this location again. As I’m sitting in Dennys right this very minute. I was seated for over 30 minutes before someone came to take my drink order , when my drinks (3) sodas came out they were flat . I told the waitress and she said well I can try the other machine, we’ll them flat also , I asked for a HI C Fruit punch she came back 5 minutes later and said it was broken. My daughter ask for orange juice, was told the were out. At this point I’m like what do y’all have to drink . It’s not like I’m tucked away where I’m not seen I’m right in front of the grill where everyone has mad eye contact with me , but one one had come over . The food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection 👌 I want to thank our server , DONNIE, for going above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was perfect. Donnie was attentive without being intrusive. His level of professionalism and warmth added a personal touch to our evening, and we left feeling thoroughly satisfied. Always love coming to this Denny's. The food always comes out great. We come with our family every couple weeks. Our favorite servers are Andria, Sandra, and Barbie. Our waitress Robin was the only one working the tables, but she got our orders and drinks just as quickly as if she weren't. It's such a hit or miss at this location! Ordered a steak meal which means please get it correct considering it's the priciest item on the menu. While my steak had a good flavor, it was overcooked!, No toast until asked where is it and potatoes so overly cooked that it appears they were recooked 3 times! Worst part is manager came by and bought remade ones but after I'd began eating my other food and couldn't enjoy the potato's because they're scorching HOT! It'd been great for him to come back and check on me or maybe offer something better than a 5.00 discount. And further it'd been great if he truly cared. I visit regular and this management is more reactive vs proactive! How did burnt food make it out of the kitchen from the cooks and make it as well to my table before I had to point it out!?? The manager begrudgingly fixed the entire ticket but the horrible experience remains! His resolve was to not charge me for the overcooked meal!!! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

In case it doesn’t show up, I rated the food at zero stars. Dennys has gone downhill fast, in the last couple years, and this was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had, at any restaurant. The coffee was really weak, it looked more like tea than coffee. I could literally see my spoon at the bottom of the cup. The food took forever to come out, and when it did finally come out, it was cold. I don’t mean lukewarm, or room temperature, I mean cold, like cold to the touch. The waiter said it was because the plates sit right under the place where cold air comes from the roof. If that’s truly the case, move the plates!! He offered to take it back and have the cook remake it, but we didn’t want to wait an45 minutes for another cold plate of food. One of the things we ordered was mashed potatoes, and they tasted strange, like maybe they were going bad. All this, and the waiter didn’t even offer to lower the bill. It was under staffed and the service was slow. We had to request refills on our coffee. No one came by to check on us. We had to stop servers and ask for things. We had a party of 4, but we were only given 2 napkins. The staff we did spoke with were all friendly. The food was mediocre, not the same quality as it was in prior visits here. We stopped at Denny's for coffee and were treated very well by the staff, especially Barbie, our waitress. She was very pleasant and made our time there very nice with her comments and happy attitude. In addition, the coffee surprised us by being very good.
