Gisela and Rosie are the best, the restaurant is clean and the food is hot when it comes out. I know Denny’s usually gets a bad rap but this Denny’s is actually great. I ordered Southwestern Benny Breakfast. I got hash browns and burnt muffins with chorizo on it. No egg, no hollandaise sauce, no pepper sauce, no pico de gallo. I understand mistakes happen. I am extremely angry because I called the restaurant over 20 times. I left multiple voicemails and asked them to call me back. I also called the main number were you can place an order and was told they will transfer me to the restaurant but nobody answers. Never received a call back. This is unacceptable. This will be our last visit to Denny’s. The Food! Unfortunately, there was an issue with every item of food we ordered. Milkshake was watery, mushy hash browns, undercooked eggs, over sweetened dense pancakes, over cooked greasy burger (with a tough brioche bun?), cold french fries, and biscuits and gravy that could not get more bland. The food absolutely gets 1 star. The Service! It was a bit busy when we arrived, but we were sat immediately. That was nice. We then waited about 10 min for our server to get to us. The manager did come over and apologize for the wait, but we understood it was busy. We did see a few tables get sat after us and get greeted right away, which is never a great feeling. When the server did get to us, she was very nice. Going forward she was pretty inattentive. Service gets 3 stars. Ambiance! It’s Denny’s. Standard dinner vibe. Busy Sunday, so… loud. They had some good music playing which is fun. The bathroom was disheveled and the server station was a wreck (coffee grounds everywhere! 😱) Overall, I think Denny’s has run its course with us. To my surprise the food was well seasoned and served at a good temperature. The service was good and the atmosphere was a little quiet for me but was a great place to sit down and eat on my way to a dance. Food was not that expensive so that's another plus. The food was alright, and the waiter was nice. The manager allowed other families to join a couple of tables together but did not want to allow us to do the same. We had to sit at 2 tables that were far apart and made us pay two split bills. The restaurant was not as busy as well. Did not give us a friendly greeting from the start, he looked upset. This is my reasoning behind a 1 star overall rating despite the alright tasting food Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
