Always come here. When we come to Dallas. Parking lot is safe and clean. We are greeted as soon as we enter and seated. We always ask for Ida to be our server - always smiling and genuinely courteous, pleasant, and attentive. The general manager, Loretta, always stoops by the table to be sure we are happy with our dining experience. Restrooms are clean as is the whole facility. Always a please to come back! Outstanding. After a 3 hour exhausting drive I went in where i was immediately greeted, followed by seated. Within a short parameter of time I ordered and had my coffee. My server checked up on me, gave me refills, and really outstanding service. Food was great. Angela thank you for the incredible service, you ROCK! Haven't been to Denny's in a few years. I thought I would give this location a shot. Coffee wasvokay, never been a fan of their roast, but at least it was fresh! Had the 5 pepper cheeseburger, and it was perfect! Worth a try if you are in the area. You know, I literally grew up with this chain. I have so many fond memories eating out with my Mom and Dad on the weekends. I can remember as far back as seven or eight years old. And over the years, the restaurant has went through a lot of changes. The ugly period was in the 80's through 90's, when Denny's went through a societal change. They where blatantly racist against minority patrons. It got so bad that it took numerous lawsuits and management changes to rectify the issue. Nowadays, the chain has gotten much better at diversity, customer service, and management. The food has always been the staple of Denny's. At this location, they are quite friendly and the food follows suit. The only issue is keeping the place clean, even with high foot traffic.
