The best local food of our entire trip through Panama.
We had dinner here yesterday and today.
On the first evening we ate chicken with rice and the delicious homemade hot sauce.
Today the owner bought fresh fish for us from the fishermen and served it with passion fruit sauce.
The food tastes really really good and cooked with love.
The restaurant manager is very friendly. She speaks very good English and Spanish.
The restaurant is highly recommended.

The owner is the loveliest lady! It was our late meal before leaving Bocas and it didn’t disappoint! So yummy and vegetarian friendly. Some of the best local authentic food we’ve had in Panama, highly recommend :)

The owners/cook are very friendly, I enjoyed getting to know them. This is a very small establishment, like visiting with family having a delicious home cooked meal! I enjoyed my dish as well! Price was also good for what I got!

The owner is a talented cook, very kind, and fluent in Spanish and English. This was the best comida típica i found on the island, and very affordable. She even makes her own hot sauce (picante)! It was delicious! This place is a must-try when visiting bocas.

They opened up again just for us, because we looked hungry. Big Mama cooking skills are awesome. We ate fish and pork it was both perfect. The platanos were the best on the island so far. It's not a big restaurant with a small menu, and sometimes they dont have everything left, which is a sign of fresh ingredients in my opinion.
Will go there again! They also offer breakfast;)

Ristorante molto piccolo e semplice ma è stato una bella scoperta. Pochi tavoli e cucinano quello che hanno. Il pesce è molto fresco ed i condimenti saporiti: ottime le verdure. L’accoglienza è molto calorosa

Es ist ein sehr einfaches Restaurant. Wir kamen am ersten Abend hier her und wurden super herzlich empfangen. Giselle (die Besitzerin) hatte keine Speisekarte und sagte nur: „ich habe heute nur Hühnchen, Kochbananen und Gemüse“ - das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Am zweiten Abend servierte sie uns fisch mit Passionsfruchtsauce und Kartoffelpüree auch dieses Essen liebten wir 😍 giselle ist super herzlich und lieb, und das essen ist ausgezeichnet zu einem fairen Preis. Wir können das Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Wir waren an unserem ersten Abend in Bocas hier und wurden sofort sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Essen wurde schnell zubereitet, war wirklich lecker und zu einem fairen Preis. Wir sprachen kein Spanisch, aber das war kein Problem. Absolute Empfehlung!

Привітна хозяйка. Риба свіжа, не морожена. Приготовлена смачно. Також смачний лимонад за 1 долар. Чистоти відповідає місцевості.
Вечеря на двох обійшлася у 20 доларів.
