Food is good, but their service was pathetic! I understand that there's some monopoly in Flagstaff when it comes to Indian restaurants (there's just 2 basically), but the staff didn't treat us well. When we walked in the first time, the owner/head of staff snapped his fingers at us and asked us to go out and add our name to the wait list (physical form). We had no idea as this was our first time. We found that extremely disrespectful. The fun fact: I went to the place where I was told that we'd find the wait list form, and it wasn't available! I went in again politely and asked a different staff this time and got to know that the form went inside and is with a different staff! Food is decent, but had a pathetic experience which we won't forget. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Vegetable Korma
We went as a group of 4 for this restaurant. We ordered chicken pakoda, chilli mutton and biryani. The chicken pakoda was good but less quantity for the price we paid for it. Chilli mutton was ok. But the biryani was not upto the standard. We have to cancel the biryani and the bearers were good enough to remove it from the cheque as we didnt like it. The service was good. The taste will suite more for non Indians. The ambience of the restaurant was good and the cleanliness was perfect. Missed the buffet though. They provided the papads which was good. I’m going to go out on a limb and say…this is probably the best Indian food in all of Arizona and even the best restaurant as far as food quality in Flagstaff. I have seen comments like this in the review section and I could not dare to believe such a large statement. Now I have to say that parking is a complete task in this complex so prepare for that. Also prepare that this popular place has quite a wait time. I called the day before to make a reservation and I was told that it was a first come first serve basis. By the time we checked in for our dinner, it took over 45 minutes for us to be seated. We were greeted with pappad and chutney and had plenty of time to prepare our request when it was time to put in our order. We ordered garlic naan, chicken tikka masala and saag paneer. Also, the curries don’t come with rice so make sure to add that to your order if you’d like! The garlic naan was quite charred but tasted like it came straight from the tandoor. The chicken tikka masala was so creamy and decadent. Now the chicken itself may have been slightly dry but that phenomenal curry/gravy made it so addicting. I have also read a comment that the saag paneer was the best they have ever had, and my husband who doesn’t even enjoy saag paneer as much, stated that it was the best saag paneer he has ever had and even enjoyed it more than the chicken tikka masala. I have to agree, the saag paneer was incredibly flavorful. I finished the meal off with chai and it was as homey as it gets. I like my chai sweet so I had to add quite an amount of sugar. I know my Indian food and this restaurant produces some of the best Indian food compared to all of the Indian restaurants I have tried in Arizona. Now I can’t go to Flagstaff without coming to Delhi Palace. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

My partner and I were spending the weekend in Flagstaff and decided to try this restaurant. From the moment you pull in to the plaza you can smell the food. We walked in and it was bustling, we signed in. There was a bit of the wait but in my opinion well worth it. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. We ordered the Assorted Snacks appetizer, I loved the chicken pakora. We also tried the Tandoori dinner Complete Dinner which I highly recommend as it offers variety for a fair price, especially for two people - we had leftovers. I was also a huge fan of the Indian tea and Mango Lasso beverages. We ended the meal on a high note with desserts Kheer and Gulab Jamun which were very flavorful. Throughout the meal the staff refilled our waters, checked in often and helped make a birthday celebration extra special. I can't wait to return and highly recommend this restaurant to others. ✨ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My husband and I were passing through Flagstaff and wanted Indian food for lunch. We thought they offered the buffet because the photo of the buffet was on the Google listing. It's not offered anymore, at least at the time I wrote this (8/25/23). We ordered off the menu. The papadum was okay; tasty but not quite as crunchy as I'm used to. I eat a lot of Indian food and I can say our entree dishes were terrific. They were good-sized servings. We chose vegan with a coconut-milk-based creamy mixed vegetable and non-dairy version of dahl maharani. The service was spot on and friendly. I would definitely return here. We enjoyed ourselves very much. The restaurant is located in a very busy shopping center. There are a lot of food places so parking spaces can be sparse during meal times. Delhi Palace has authentic Indian Cuisine. My favorites include the Chicken Tikki Masala, the Lamb Saag, the Naan, and don't forget the Taj Mahal beer. The food is super delicious and anything over 2 on a spice scale of 1-5 will be hot for most people. It was easy to get a table with no wait at 5 pm on a Thursday. The birthday dessert was a nice touch. I loved the Happy Birthday singing too. Thank You. Guy from Tempe. Was in constant search for an authentic Indian restaurant and after a tiring burger and sandwich week,we decided to stop by this place. I wasn’t expecting much, but to my surprise the biriyani was too good. I really enjoyed it and it made me feel like home. The chicken was juicy and 4 stars for the lamb biriyani. I was able to handle their spice level 5. Thank you guys for this wonderful food. Great start, as soon as we entered they served Papad and the drinks were served in nice cold glasses. After that it was a ride down the drain - quite aweful entrees, the Tandoori Chicken smelled very bad so did the butter chicken - not palatable at all - the curry in the picture was indeed the leftover. Quite arrogant server who acted too smart. Wont be returning back here. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $100+ Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Garlic Naan

The food is always incredible, servers are so kind and attentive, and the art and music make it an authentic experience! Today my sister and I had chicken tiki masala & mushroom korma. Both curries were rich, buttery and delicious! The naan is crispy and light. Don’t forget the Indian tea! It is heavily spiced and they are generous with refills. My sister and I almost always eat here when we are visiting Flagstaff. Thank you!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
