I have no idea why our 6-year old has decided that this is her favorite restaurant, but when you have a picky eater who who ask for another taco at dinner - you go. Outside of the food, I will give this location kudos for having really pleasant counter staff who always make us feel welcome and when we ask for silly things like extra cheese for the kids or crispy fries they actually do it - that's appreciated. This Del Taco a must every time I come to Castle Rock! The food is so cheap, so good quality, and so delicious! The staff are always so friendly and knowledgeable, and the food comes out so quickly! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. I have been to several all over the country making a point to eat here a couple times before my trips are over, but this one has to be my favorite. The food was delicious, the restaurant is nice and clean with lots of seating and parking. The food is really cheap and dare I say WAYYYYYY better than taco bell. If you haven't eaten here please do! We're here, we drove from Pueblo to eat here and the outlets, says they're dining room is open till 10, open lights on, whole building is locked up and the employees look at you stupid when you try to buy food.......if they can't fully open shut it down, do the right thing......stupid! Mostly fresh food and relatively fast service. The staff are usually friendly and efficient. After many complaints this year, the evening staff are keeping the store open according to the posted hours. I recently ordered from the app and managed to walk away with cold food and items forgotten by the staff. I called the store and they offered to give me the item if I drove back from home and they would refund the purchase price. What's with the tip bucket at the pick-up window? Just a complete and utter lack of management. NEVER have I heard of a large corporate restaurant being closed 7 hrs early due to short staff. Absolutely no excuse for this. Management obviously needs to be changed. Just sheer laziness. Del Taco Cooperation should HIGHLY consider finding new management for this store. This store has brought Del Taco a bad name for many reasons other than just sheer laziness.
