Great ambiance and food portion sizes for Del Sol. The food was good, had better but it was definitely filling. They have a large menu with different items to pick from. Their horchata was good too.

Enjoyed it. The reviews did say it was well liked, and we also enjoyed it. Salsa was spicy and flavorful... we will go back. We had lunch specials > worth a visit. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Welcomed n seated immediately. Food took longer than expected. The waiter was kind and apologized for the delay. When we went to check out it took a while for the waiter to get back to us in order to pay the bill. I do believe however they were working short staff. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Combination Burrito Taco Rice and Beans and Cheese

This is one of my favorite Tex Mex restaurants in Hattiesburg. The service can be a little slow at times but overall a good dining experience. I highly recommend the fajita chicken and steak quesadillas. The house salsa and quest fundido is pretty good as well. Enjoy @themarketingexpert101

I find it interesting the interpretations of different dishes depending on the area of the country you are visiting. Tonight at Del Sol is a perfect example. When I see queso fundido on the menu, I’m going to try it. This is first time I’ve had this dish and it wasn’t a stringy, stretchy cheese. Usually I find it made with Oaxaca cheese with different ingredients mixed in. Almost always chorizo, but also mushrooms, poblano peppers, beef, fajita or others. At Del Sol it was a basic Chile con queso, but with chorizo. Smooth and thin cheese dip. I also asks for pico de gallo on the side and it worked well in the cheese. It was not served with tortillas, which makes sense it not being Oaxaca cheese. My main dish was choripollo which was chicken breast, cheese and chorizo. Basically the same cheese as the dip. Overall I had a good meal, but wouldn’t order the cheese again. Or would at least know that ism getting a queso dip and order a different main dish. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30

I ate here in 2016 with my brother while I was on leave from the army. The food was delicious, coming from someone who eats TexMex daily living in El Paso, Texas. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Just Nachos
Food was ok & overpriced imo. It was lunchtime, way too loud & and overcrowded. We could barely hear our own conversation at our table due to the noise. The floor is VERY SLIPPERY. It was drizzling outside, so it made the floor worse. When we 1st arrived, we had to stand & wait even though there was many open tables.. Then other people came in & the guy motioned for them to be seated even though we were there 1st. When I said something about us being there 1st, of course, he didn't like it. He seemed mad about it but seated us. It took a long time to get our order & our food. Was my 1st time going there & my last. I went with my daughter & 3 grandkids. I was the only 1 on my ticket & it was $34.00, not counting the tip. I don't eat very much, & didn't have an option for anything smaller. Kids plate would've worked for me, but I didn't have that option, lol. The waiter was polite, though. The food was ok but definitely wasn't worth what it cost. I had tamales, a soda & Mexican rice. The service was good and the food came out quickly. The restaurant is pretty big, so there's plenty of tables spaced apart for dinner conversation. And the restaurant isn't so loud from being cramped. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
