It opened at 11am and I think I was the 1st one there today. It was a very nice and clean place. As soon as I came in, the lady at the register greeted me. I told her it was my 1st time at Deets, and she was very informative about the menu and the food. Upon her suggestion, I ordered the nachos with sausage and corn bread, and for dessert, I got the pecan cluster. To upgrade the meat from beef to suasage was $4.00 more. The nachos were good but nothing over the top by any means. Portion size is a lunch size, in my opinion, when you're paying for a dinner price. I thought the sausage was in too big of chunks to be put on nachos. But that's just a preference.I grabbed a knife and a fork, and I tried to cut it, and it broke. The corn bread was very good but very small for $2, as was the pecan cluster.I don't mind paying, but lunch cost me $25 bucks, and it was not worth it. My favorite at Deet's is the Brisket plate. Brisket sandwich, baked beans with brisket bits, Wild salad, Corn muffin, Half rack of Ribs & two Pecan pieces for dessert. Quick service, friendly staff & very clean dinning area. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50

1st time at a Deet’s and probably the last. Counter person not helpful in the least. The vibe was my Family was taking his time up and he had better things to do. The food was expensive and just so so. I don’t think it’s actually a BBQ place just a restaurant that sells food they call BBQ. There was no smell of meat cooking like you get at real BBQ places. And they wanted to charge me $2.49 for a cup of water. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Honestly theres not enough good things i can say about this place. Generally hard to find good bbq this far north. Was passing through with a freind from Alabama that wanted bbq, i warned him most was horrible in the area and i normally smoke my own. We stopped here and we were both impressed. Service was great, guy working was super friendly. Food seemed expensive but portions are large. Had the big pork bbq with slaw, best you will find in the area. I've been here many times over the years I've gotten. Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners individual dinners on a given day. Food is always good services. Always good can't wait for the next time. I had our class reunion catered by Deet's this past weekend. The planning was very easy with caterers at the Maumee store. We had 50 people in attendance. Deet's delivery and set person Dillon was fantastic! For a young man he certainly knew his business. Everything was set up correctly and in sequence. The food was delicious! Everything from the salad to the pulled pork to the chicken leg quarters was outstanding. The corn bread muffins were a big hit also. I would highly recommend Deet's for your next party. We will be having Deet's do more parties for us in the future. Oh, the cost was very reasonable. Very pleased. Visited resently. Order way more than I should. Ordered chicken brisket and pork. Didnt care for the sauce seemed to over power the flavor in meat. The brisket was pulled brisket mostly fat but lucky for then I like that part. The polish pete was good as well. I had the slaw and mc n cheese. Also got a slab of ribs. Rib weren't very big I'm a bit picky with my ribs but have to try them everywhere. Sauce over powdered the meat so couldnt really taste the flavor in the food besides the sauce.
