Really enjoyed this spot during my visit to Carmel! I had been looking through many different places to choose from for wine tastings and I’m glad I went with this option. Reasonably priced and friendly/knowledgeable staff, he was able to answer all of our questions and help us make the right choice for a bottle we were looking to purchase. Would love to come back if I’m in Carmel again! The only disappointment was that we wanted to get the charcuterie board but it wasn’t available when we were there, though the gentleman offered an alternative to us where food is delivered from a restaurant across the street from the menu of appetizers (my memory is a bit foggy as my visit was in December, so I may have explained this part incorrectly). However it wasn’t that big of a deal! Would’ve just been a plus. All in all, highly recommend !
Was recommended to stop by here by another tasting room, Talbott Vineyards, when they didn't have any Bordeaux-style blends. The wines here were fabulous, I personally really enjoyed both the Petite Sirah and their late harvest riesling. My wife enjoyed the whites and dessert wine as well. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We look forward to trying their restaurant recommendations.

We had a great experience at De Tierra. We did a wine tasting and got a couple of glasses too. All of it was so good! Daverle helped us and she was as sweet as can be! Absolutely loved her. We will be back!
Stopped by early afternoon for a wine tasting. No reservation needed! The tasting flight was $25 (or complementary with the purchase of two bottles) and came served in test tubes which was really unique. One of the wines on the tasting menu was a Petit Verdot, which I never tried before. Service was great! Also, this tasting room is dog friendly! I was told we could sit inside or outside, but since it was quiet and lovely out, I opted for outside.

A super fun wine bar with very kind owners, located in a prime location. The tasting flight is very good, and a great way to explore the wine offered. Really loved the cute dog in the store too. Fun stop for afternoon wine 🍷
I'm sharing our great experience especially for those who plan to bring friends who don't drink alcohol for any number of reasons. We received a gift card for this winery but do not drink. The host was incredibly gracious and in no way made us feel uncomfortable or odd that we don't drink. This is huge and uncommon. Really recommend this place for mixed crowds of people who drink and don't drink.
Great tasting room. Fantastic service and really good wines. The most unique tasting experience we have had. They provide flights in test tubes so you can try at your own pace and compare wines.

Very good wine, super laid back atmosphere, friendly and generous. Very happy to have come in.
The highlight of our day! And Stephanie was just the most generous host! The 2016 Monterey Syrah will knock your socks off!

This is hands down the best tasting room in Monterey county.
