A BLT has 3 ingredients. Bacon, lettuce, and tomatoes. So how are they going to forget the bacon? Spending $30 to get lunch delivered and then biting into a lettuce and tomato sandwich really sucks. It was also supposed to come with mayo, which it did not. So I moved onto the pretzels. They were rock hard and super hard to bite into. All in all, it was a complete waste of money, I'm still hungry, and now I have to wait until dinner :( This was my first and last time eating at Das Boots. The food was very yummy and the service was very friendly. Well cleaned and maintained, wonderful communicative staff, and flavorful chicken. We got the buffalo chicken sandwich special and it was fantastic! the chicken was actually sauced instead of that weird buffalo breading some places use which is always a win. The buttery coffee was great and the cheesecake had a wonderful texture. Will be coming back! Everyone was super nice. The place is pretty bare bones and far as decor. The food is really really good. The service while very friendly was inattentive at best. I ordered a sample of each of the seasonal beers and never got them. I ordered a house salad I did not get it. My husband ordered the sausage sandwich and they brought him the white lighting burger instead. After the food came the server realized I never got the salad and took it off the bill before I asked. Thankfully, the beer samples never made it to the ticket so I didn't have to say anything. It was really, really good food. We love Royal Bavaria. On our way out we grabbed mints from the bucket next to the door, all three of us spit them out into the street because they were so gross. Wasn't mint I don't know what it was, It was unpleasant. We stopped by for an early dinner as we drove home for Christmas with our 2yo and 1yo. The staff were very kind and the menu variety was wonderful. The size of the entrees is perfect if you want to be full but not stuffed. But if you are a big eater you may want an appetizer or dessert. Our only complaint is that the only changing table is in the ladies bathroom so my husband was unable to help change diapers. So if you are a dad taking your small kids for dinner you would not be able to change their diaper. Aside from that we loved it. This place was excellent! I especially loved our service. Frankie was excellent. We had a large group with 11 people, all separate orders. He was cheerful, social, and skilled at his job.
