By far the best Syrian/Mediterranean food I've had in Colorado. We got the stuffed grape leaves, and I got the chicken shawarma sandwich. I have only had stuffed grape leaves one other time in my life, and I didn't like them. These, however, were delicious and creamy. The chicken shawarma sandwich was super tasty and a huge amount of food for the price. The chicken was marinated perfectly. The person at the counter was super nice and gave us suggestions. Super cool artwork on the walls, and the place had an awesome vibe. Definitely check this place out if you find yourself in Castle Rock! Little family owned restaurant that did everything right. Worth the price. The portions, quality and flavor were spot on. Tried the meat combo and the lamb gryo. If you want something other than big chains this a good place to try out. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A welcoming small diner. We ordered the tzaziki appetizer, a gyro, and the harira soup. Everything tasted great, I just prefer my harira soup to have a hearty amount of whole beans. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 4

Beef shawarma was ok, lots of fat & gristle, dissappointing. The baklava was good, but the smallest I have ever seen! They are SOOOO slow, order ahead if you can! Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 3

I'm not sure what happened to this place. It used to be really great like 5 years ago. It was a good run but I'm moving on. When I walked in I almost tripped on the floor that is literally peeling upwards all over the place. Someone is going to get hurt. Then I noticed everyone eating out of Dixie plates and styrofoam containers. They used to serve on actual dinnerware. No one was in the lobby so I sat down like used to. The lady came out a few minutes later and told me I had to order at the counter. Once we got our food the only thing remotely good was the French fries and even those had far too much salt on them. The pita was so old, dry and chewy I couldn't chew through it. Then when I opened my chicken shawarma sandwich it was in a pool of oil and sopping wet. I didn't even want to grab it and pick it up. My wife opened hers and exact same thing. My wife and I literally just grabbed $50 of food, threw it in the trash can and walked out. So that was the nail in the coffin. This place gave up on its customers. I had the same problem two years ago and gave it a break until today. After today it's even worse. I also don't even know why they have the tip option when they don't even serve anymore. And go change your default tip options in your settings, they are far too high for your lack of customer service. Before I walked out they were arguing with a guy that wanted extra sauce and it would be an extra $1. Like come on. The food is truly authentic. Every type of good is going to be good here, and well cooked. We ordered the appetizer sampler, the meat combo, and a chicken shawarma plate. The appetizers were the same I'd have at home. Truly authentic and flavorful. The meat combo was good too, juicy and flavorful meat with a large quantity matching or surpassing the price. The service is lacking, so if you're coming here for that you won't find it. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

The service was great. We dined in and received our food fairly quickly. It was fresh and hot. The prices are a bit steep for the portion sizes. During this visit, we had gyros, rice, hummus, kabobs, tabulah... and our favorite part of the meal, french fries and baklava. The four of us didn't love any one thing, and I am sad I have to say that because of previous visits, the food tasted different, better. The tabulah was our least favorite. It was extremely vinegar forward and very 'watery'. The baklava was fresh, crispy, and one of my top five favorite I've had. Unfortunately, we've eaten here multiple times now and tried various different choices, and the fries are the food that stood out. The dining and atmosphere are very simple and limited. There's no protection from the outdoor elements. This is not the worst Mediterranean we've had. However, we feel it needs some adjusting. Great food! Love the falafel platter and pita wrap. Baklava was amazing too. Only recommendation is to be more sustainable and not use so much plastic, styrofoam, and the Dixie plates! When we are eating in we shouldn't be using disposable dishware and utensils. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Baklava

I’ve had the chicken kabob sandwich before and liked it which is what made me come back and try the chicken kabob plate. The description on the menu and what I got was different and tasted different. The kabobs had a red sauce on them and no veggies, the menu doesn’t state there’s a sauce on them just seasoning and does say the kabobs are grilled with veggies but there weren’t any. AMAZING! You can tell the love and care that they put into their food, everything is made there and the flavors are to die for. The staff is super friendly. However because they make everything in the restaurant from scratch there is a bit of a wait time so I would not recommend if you are going for a quick bite. That being said the food was so good, I got the wrapped grape leaves, pie sampler and the baklava. The lamb pie was easily my favorite but everything was divine. I can not wait to go back.
