Everything was very good.. from the stuffed intestines to the grape leaves to the mashawi.. great Job.. the kibbeh niyeh needed little more spices but I am comparing to the lebanese kibbeh. Good nonetheless.

The food here was so good we have tried kebab and shower my plates with fried kibbeh.
The food was ready in a very quick time the only thing it was there was a room with shisha smoking which was a bit annoying to smell.

Meat Shawarma Plate
I'm sad to share this review. But because I like this place I want them to get better I will. I have dined at Damas no less than a dozen times over the years. Last night 03/01/2024 around sunset I took my family to dinner there expecting to have another great meal as usual. I was very disappointed in the food.
The fried cheese birak were so soft and crumbly. Usually my daughter eats like three of them she couldn't finish one bite couldn't blamr her no one could.
The Hummus was bland and the bread was so crumbly I couldn't even wrap a piece of meat on one no chew at all.
The meat was maybe ok but didn't have that unique Damas taste & smell we got used to. My wife absolutely loves Tawook she refused to eat a 2nd piece and she was hungrybdue to fasting. The kafta was acceptable at least so that helped my daughter eat a bit.
The fries were mostly tasteless we ate a few but regretted it. Thank God for the fattoush being on point because all of us just ate the fattoush otherwise we would have left on an empty stomach.
I'm a regular, I didn't want to offend them in the kitchen and get someone in trouble as they are very nice to us, so I just left.
Service was acceptable so I tipped for ok service.
We were too tired to cook dinner and my wife was fasting and too busy to eat all day due to our work and kids, so we had to go back home to have some soup for the night. After paying $60 for two people and a kid I left unhappy.
Ramadan is almost here and I think if they repeat this mistake in Ramadan they might lose way more customers than they will know.

I visited this restaurant this week and here is my honest opinion. The restaurant is very clean and comfortable to dine in. Food is very tasty but rather beyond delicious. Food preparation and serving was surprisingly fast. They serve hot and fresh mini pita bread. The fresh Salads and fatoush, and fluffy humus are my favorites. Service is good but it could possibly improve. One minor comment is that the prices are slightly above the average entree price due to the strategic location and city of Farmington hills, but again it’s worth it for the excellent food they serve. My other favorite thing about this restaurant is the dedicated corner for prayer on the side, very well organized and thoughtfully put. I recommend dining at this place over others in the area particularly due to the tasty food and decent service compared to other overrated and overpriced restaurants in the area.
Damas Cuisine offers delicious, authentic Syrian food. We had tabouleh and fatoush as appetizers, and they were quite flavorful and tasty. Then, the beef and chicken shawarma sandwiches were delicious. Service was very quick and helpful. The manager even checked in on us and asked us if we needed anything. The restaurant is very nice and decorated inside, making you feel as if you were sitting in the heart of Damascus. Overall, I highly recommend you visit Damas Cuisine, you won’t be disappointed.

We celebrated my Birthday at this restaurant yesterday and it was the 25 of us, So I was told it’s a good place. BUT, I was not told that it’s “EXCEPTIONAL”. The atmosphere was welcoming. Food was supreme, tasteful, colorful, and exquisite, I take my hat off to the Chef. The staff is great including the owner and manager. Our servers were very fast and attentive much better than a lot of places I've dined at. Having 25 very demanded guests at one table is not an easy task to do!! Well, they did it and they definitely exceeded our expectations. Each and everyone of us was super happy. Thank you guys for making it such unforgettable Birthday gathering. Definitely highly recommended.
Damas is home to the most expensive shawarma, at $17.99 (a basic shawarma), all menu items were very overpriced compared to similar menu items at other restaurants in the area. Please note, they sell small regular french fries at $7. Mashawy grill plate was very basic, bread was burned, the only good menu item they had was Shusbarak with yogurt but was missing the rice. Service was also slow.

The food came out pretty quickly. The falafel was good. We didn't have to wait for a table. The decor is reminiscent of what would be found in restaurants in Damascus, which is nice.
