Nostalgic and tasty!!! Hot and fresh. Pizza Burger had a toasted bun and melted stringy mozzarella, fries only 2 bucks and big selection of ice cream treats.

Cashier with friendly enough. There was about 12 people standing outside and we still got our order within a reasonable amount of time. You were going to sit at the picnic tables however there was a lot of flies so we decided to eat in the car. Banana split was pretty standard but the burgers and the onion rings were amazing! You can tell they were freshly made. The onion rings were great the type that you bite into you and the whole onion ring doesn't just fall out. Each bite had a perfect amount of crispy and tasty onion inside. Got a Coke fountain drinks for Pepsi products and the french fries were good not like record-breaking like the onion rings.

The whole experience is great. The food was delicious and priced well. The service was very friendly. There was a bit of a wait but it was rush hour and the ice cream came really fast. We come here every time we are in town!
Very bad service! Lady couldn't count change, then took FOREVER to get my food, then when they messed up the order they didn't apologize, was rude like it was my fault they gave me a chicken sandwich instead of grilled cheese. Then took 20 minutes to correct the order while my other food was getting cold. I asked how much longer and she was like well we are really busy. Like how about I'm sorry I'll check on it?? She so needs to be retrained. Never eating here again. Plus the food is so not worth the price.

We love Dakota Drive In. They have a large variety of food and even bigger of ice cream. It’s a park and walk up place that has picnic tables in the shade. The food is always good and prices are reasonable. It’s only open in the summer and one of those places that you can’t wait for to open up after a long winter.
The best burgers ever, reminds me of in and out burger. I wish I could make onions that good. Just be prepared for a wait, it's not very fast, but it's been the place to go for 20 years for me whenever I visit family. Was so happy to get my other half introduced to those burgers.
