Great small town cafe. Everyone needs to experience this place. Stopped in on a Sat morning, grabbed one of the last open tables as the place was full at 9 am. Service was excellent as the team they had working quickly brought menus and we ordered coffee. The waitress continued to stop over, take our order and bring over coffee as we waited. The wait was long to get out food but totally worth it. We never ran out of coffee and the food once it came was fabulous. Chicken fried steak with gravy, 2 eggs, toast and hasbrowns. Well for years up until a few weeks ago I always had a pretty decent experience. For starters, I had a waitress flip out on me over a bisquit. Now I should say most of the waitstaff is friendly and hard working. She wasn't my waitress but when mine got busy I waived her over to get me a replacement item because I wasn't happy with the item they sell as a bisquit but to most people who look at it and taste it it's a dinner roll. I had agreed to disagree on the fact it was a bisquit it was not to me. Instead of her acting and being normal and saying I'll check on that, she proceeded to start an argument. Then when I said agree to disagree she then yelled a name at me across the dinning room.As I was leaving I had decided to have a word with the owner as this is very much not my usual experience and the fact that this waitress I had left 75% tips in the past we are talking 10$ on a 15$ meal because I tip well being a former server myself. As I was conversating with the owner the waitress rushed up on us and started screaming,she then proceeded to throw part of a waitress note pad at me.The owner apologized for the watresses behavior then covered my bill. Which was nice but I was going to go ahead and pay for it, but I won't be back given the waitress is a relative of thiers and I don't do drama at breakfast or who knows if she would flip out again Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
