Dairy Queen in Westerville, Ohio, is not just an ice cream joint; it's a portal to cherished childhood memories. The classic DQ treats paired with the welcoming atmosphere take me back to carefree summer days and after-school delights. The friendly staff and consistent quality make every visit a trip down memory lane. It's more than just ice cream; it's a taste of the past that never gets old. Highly recommended for a dose of nostalgia! Service Delivery Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went through drive thru 2/8 order came to$32 and some change. I gave the girl a $50. Apparently they have a policy that they don't take $50. Now I can understand that if I was purchasing a cone or something small. My change would have been less than $20. Common sense is not at play with the Red head male manager with facial hair. As he needed to shove one of his teenage employees out of the window to inform me of this policy. Mind you he couldn't show me anywhere on the drive thru window signage of said policy. Just stated it is corporate policy. This man must think people are dumb, DQ is a franchise. They do have a corporate office and as a corporation, they don't have this policy. I called. I'm not sure what I'm upset about the most. I'm pretty upset for the girl that was pushed out of the way. As a mother and a manager that wouldn't stand. Or am I upset that this man bold faced lied just to be a jerk. Sadly after years of coming to this location, I will not be returning. I will be letting my other mom friends in the community know this isn't a safe place mentally or physically for your teenage to work. Burger was stone cold. I politely asked for a hot one. 90 seconds later and "fresh hot" one came out. It was the same burger but obviously popped in the microwave. The bun was soft and soggy despite the toast marks on the bottom...so ..if you want burgers made to order.. don't come here, or if you do, ask them to make it fresh. ❤️ Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
Had the absolute best experience ever at DQ today. Took my son to get an ice cream cake for his bday. The female employee offered to write on it. She talked with my son about what he wanted, added balloons (and ever offered to cut of the pink balloon!), and offered an ice cream cone! He was so happy when we left!! :) Service: 5

This DQ has many of the "things I remember" from being a kid. They make their hotdog sauce on site as well as hand dip their dilly bars - this makes a difference! The staff is pretty friendly of late, but they always have local kids learning how to work so they get turnover frequently. That doesn't mean they are lax in training because my son eats at this location at least once a week. Always fresh, always delicious. Consistent and made to order fries and onion rings with a very full container means you get your money's worth. I have eaten better burgers here than more than a few burger places. Overall good value for good eats 👍🏻 Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10
You really can't go wrong at Dairy Queen. The pooch would have to really be screwed before you could write a bad review! That being said, I had a vanilla come dipped in chocolate and the ice cream just didn't taste like DQ. Maybe it was just me, who knows. The chocolate Butterfinger Blizzard was a as good as usual.
When ordering a cake you would think they would put a little more effort into it rather than this. My 6 year old can write better than this.. what happened to pretty cakes with cursive writing? Guess I’ll buy it plain next time and do it myself.

Fastest I've ever gotten my blizzard. Also ordered a 6pc chicken tender basket. When I opened it at the table, there were only 4, so I went and told them and the guy actually gave me 4 more pieces, which I really appreciated. I was looking for a place that makes great cakes and when I found this Dairy Queen, I was a little scared because it would be my first time ordering cake. But the workers definitely assured me and they helped me tremendously. The cake was done on time, the decoration was amazing and it tasted amazing. The workers were really nice and followed COVID-19 guidelines. Definitely recommend this diary Queen.

First of all, it is hard to figure out how to get into the drive thru. I followed the signs but I couldn't find how you got in line. So I went inside and it was filled with unruly youths. They were everywhere and bumped into me like they had no idea anyone else was there. I placed and paid for my order. I have ordered blizzards, for 25yrs and it's always been given to me in a cup that has dome on top where you can put the spoon through. I was given a drink cup with a place for a straw. I asked for the dome top and was told, no that's only for milkshakes. You drink a milkshake through a straw and you eat a blizzard with a spoon. That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. I have never received a blizzard without a dome top and a spoon. I asked the girl how do I get the spoon in and out? So she took the lid off and showed me. So to eat a blizzard from this store means you can't have a lid on it. To end it all the blizzard was very runny, not frozen at all. I will never go back to this place unless I can bring back a real blizzard with a dome lid like from the New Albany location. I also will not be returning because I was very intimidated by the unruly youths carrying on in the store Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person $1–10 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
