Dad's Diner deserves its high star rating that it currently holds. They had great food - I ordered a delicious pancake that looked like a crepe (pancrepe as they call it) which came with jam, butter, and syrup. And they had an amazing and kind staff that made the diner atmosphere super friendly. It's a great place to eat, and I'd recommend it! I love this place!! My mom and I went here before catching a ferry. The food was absolutely delicious (I ordered the rice bowl), the servers are so kind and sociable, and the atmosphere is wonderful! Good experience here! The biscuit was great! Would highly recommend getting one just to try it. Got the chorizo hash as my main and tried the burger and salmon tacos. The hash potatoes were very good and crispy though I would have like it to have some more texture/flavors going on. The chorizo kind of disappeared into the hash. It was incredible! I bought the homemade salsa to go since I'm not a local, I live in Seattle, and I wanted to enjoy it at home. The people were very friendly and made sure I had everything I needed and checked my coffee level as well periodically. The food tasted amazing. Dads Diner is the best breakfast place in town. Very good food, atmosphere, and service was great. Plenty of street parking. I recommend to get there early so you don’t have to wait long. The grits were very good. Loved the pull pork with my eggs and potatoes. Such a great combo. The place itself has pictures of dads on the wall. What a neat concept. Service was great. There is no better way to start your day then at Dad’s. Terrific service, wonderful food, lovely space, and if you are lucky you will have to wait so that your anticipation level increases by the minute! We waited 40 minutes to dine and it was worth every minute! Kudos to the entire staff, they run the place like clockwork and no one is forgotten! We WILL return! Absolutely! My kind of place. So incredibly quirky cool and unique with surprisingly good food that you would typically not find somewhere else- the staples with a twist- and ambiance and decoration of globes with a really cool story behind it- ask Fletcher. The owner. Cannot recommend this place. Absolutely fantastic! A must go to! Our food was tremendous- packed with fun flavors and our service was wonderful! So glad we dropped by! My husband had the Jimmy Rice which he absolutely LOVED!!! I had the breakfast tacos which were fabulous! Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20
