It’s a rip off!!! Me and husband and my 5 years old son ordered a chicken dish (which was highly recommended by the lady), broccoli and a fish (cooked two ways where they steamed the meat and made soup with the bones and head), plus plum drinks & orange drinks. Bill came up to TWD 1700++!
Place was almost full when we stepped in to the restaurant, we were so happy thinking we have found a good place for lunch. Ended up the fish soup was super diluted, taste as plain as water. The chicken dish was OK not bad. The broccoli dish was normal. Really nothing to wow about.
We ate in numerous restaurants in in Taipei, Tainan and Taichung before, price we have paid was not even as high as this old and tiny restaurant. Super not worth it! Please AVOID!!!!
I love the food, we arrived with a tour bus, occupied 2 tables, and it did feel local. More locals arrived after us and that is a good sign.
The food was tasty, staff friendly and helpful.
They also have my favorite food combined in one dish: stinky tofu, 1000 year eggs and intestines. Pitty that the intestines made it a little salty but the taste was great. I will try it myself at home.
For me, it is a place to come back again.
Good restaurant with local traditional dishes. Very good service and reasonable price. Better drive there as it is in the middle of the road. Better know chinese for ordering dishes.
