I love this place so much, but it just sucks that I have to drive across town just to get bubble tea here instead of going to the Sandhills location. I don't know if the short Asian guy in the back notices that people can see him, but yelling at the other employees in front of customers is extremely unprofessional.

Dairy Allergy Review: I stopped by today just to check out the menu at D&Tea and see if I would have any luck finding something I could drink. I have a dairy allergy (not lactose intolerance), so bubble tea shops can be hit or miss depending on if they exclusively use powdered teas. Powdered bubble teas often use a non-dairy creamer which contains whey - a type of dairy protein. The staff was very friendly and very helpful while I asked for more details about their menu and kindly gave me great options to try in the future. Dairy Free Recommendations: If you’re vegan or have a dairy allergy like me, check out their green / black / oolong teas and fruit teas - and inquire about substitutions! They said they could make a dairy free version of their brown sugar milk tea using soy (and no foam) which I’m curious about. Food Review: For today I picked up the Honey Jasmine Green tea (Rose Jasmine is also great) - which was super delicious and just the way I like it. The lychee jellies I got were tasty as well, but I also got to sample what seemed to be freshly made tapioca pearls and they were excellent! I’ll have to inquire about dairy free desserts the next time I go, but at a glance they didn’t seem to have any right now. Hopefully the dessert menu will expand in the future since they’ve only been open for 3 weeks. But in all, I think it’ll be a great date night spot if you want to double up with bubble tea & a movie. They’re only open until 9:30pm so make sure to plan the timing well! Also be sure to sign up for their rewards if you plan to frequent a lot as I do! Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Honestly the only thing this place has going for them is the presentation. The tea is nasty and the dessert is frozen so its not ready to eat when you are sitting there drinking your tea. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
