When you are living overseeas for sometime, you forget some faces,places from the homeland and also the taste of certain foods. A few years ago, my Mom came visting for the Christmas holidays and she brought with her some black cake. It was from Denise. The taste of Denise's black cake suddenly awaken those memories of a Vincy Christmas. What is a Vincy Christmas without some black cake lol. The cake was awesome, wickedly delicious, the texture perfect for me. It brought the warmth of Vincyland to my cold surroundings.

To be honest, I'm upset; upset that I have only one mouth because D's cakes are simply immaculate. If you want something sweet without the guilt, give her moist cakes a try. I promise you, you'll love these cakes.
