Terrible service. I ordered carryout and waited 35 minutes for mussels I was told would take 15 or 20. When I arrived after 20, I was told "almost ready". I waited outside in the cold with my dogs for 15 minutes within clear sight of their large windows. Nothing. I went in at 35 minutes to hear "almost ready", again. How is this possible? The place was empty and there were several employees on shift, some idle. I said it's too long and not was I was told, cancel it, no thank you, went outside, untied my dogs and walked down the street. was 100+ feet away when he came out and yelled down the sidewalk that they're ready. I repeated my complaint. He said they'd been ready the whole time, he just "didn't see them" yet he'd looked at the kitchen when I was inside, complaining. I don't want cold mussels nor customer service like this. No I'm sorry or a discount or a freebie as he yelled at me belatedly down the street. Maybe they were neglectful and rude because I'm a single gray haired lady who ordered for one. I don't know. Will not be back to this longstanding Winthrop institution who was great way back when. There are too many good Italian restaurants in this town for that disrespect. Service: 1

Came in with a group of 8 including 2 teens & 2 younger children & everyone loved it. We enjoyed caprese salad, pasta with meatballs, chicken parm, eggplant parm, chicken ziti broccoli & steak tips. All were delicious. Excellent desserts too. Service was friendly and prompt. Definitely recommend! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
