Great food! It would be helpful to have more of their staff speak English! The store itself is a big dirty. There are gambling machines inside that never get wiped off or disinfected which is pretty gross. Otherwise it is a good place to get a lot of food for the money! We've come by this location multiple times - it is our go-to spot for Mexican food! Everything tastes very fresh. The chile rellano dishes, enchiladas and tortilla wraps are super delicious. This De Leon's on 48th St. always seems to have exceptionally great service. The staff, most of them are always very polite & have no problems taking time from they're work to help customers, clean, put away salad bar/cold table. My personal favorite De Leon's in town! We don't go to D'Leons often, but they never disappoint when we do. Carne Asada Street Tacos are my favorite and D'Leons is one of a few locally that can get the order right and the price is reasonable. Staff are bilingual and super friendly- even when I mispronounce the items. They usually will clarify what you said and ask questions to make sure you know what all is on it or comes with your selection. You get a hefty amount of food for a good deal. D'leons has never let me or my family down when we're seeking some good Mexican food. Fair amount of food for the price, the food is always hot and flavors are consistent each time we go back. Definitely check them out, be polite because these people work hard and never seem to disappoint. Don't let the fact they have a drive thru make you think the food is lack luster. They'll get your order right just make sure to communicate. This place has the legendary flavors of a taco truck but the convenience of being open what seems to be 24/7 and a bit more of a selection.
