Had a great turkey sandwich here last weekend. Super delicious and I was surprised by how yummy the soft roll was; you can tell Clive and his wife take a lot of pride in their ingredients, service, and making everyone feel welcome. My fiance who grew up in a restaurant could have talked with these sweet folks about food and the business all day!
This is a little tucked away gem. We LOVE the Mount Baldy BLT. The owners are so nice and put a lot of care into their food and with customers.

Oh My...What a wonderful find. I have never been to San Anselmo. I needed a bite to eat and wanted some good fresh food. I was by myself and enjoy happy, talkative individuals to make me feel easy. Wow did I find it here at D.G. Cafe. What a wonderful little gem of true human kindness. I don't know if I will ever be back in the area, but if I am anywhere close I will go out of my way to visit again. Thank you for making me feel so welcome.
A very easy 5 star review. If you are looking for a great sandwich, a quick bite to eat, or a good cup of coffee the folks at DG Cafe have you covered! A wonderful addition to downtown San Anselmo, where lunch choices have been significantly lacking until now.
I highly recommend the blueberry lemon scone from the pastry bin, and I do not think you can go wrong on the sandwich menu. Salads look great and I am looking forward to trying them in the near future.
The staff is wonderful and friendly and they seem to value customer service. If you are looking for lunch in San Anselmo, or just a great sandwich I think DG Cafe is worth the stop.
