Oh look, giant duck by the road. Yups, that was what made us stop here on our long drive to the southern provinces. It is a really lovely café & restaurant. The friendly staffs spoke with very heavy southern accent. The southern tea I ordered packs a punch. It is like those Teh Tarik we get in Malaysia and Singapore, same same but different. It was a quick stop for lunch in a nice, clean, and most importantly …. air-conditioned environment. All menus are in Thai, but point point sign language should work ok for foreigners here. I had a tasty fried rice with 4 huge pieces of prawns. In Thailand, the same dish can taste different, and be cooked different from province to province. In me fried rice, there were tomatoes in the stir fry. It is just like how most Tom Yam Soup of southern provinces will have tomatoes in them altering the taste just by a bit. My kid had a rice with friend chicken dish accompanied by a sunny side up. Refueled our stomachs well and then we headed more hours into the south.

We were so supervising happy because the food was better than we think. The fried rice with salted egg is so good.
