This is a one of a kind business, so difficult to compare to others. The big difference is that there is no menu, and customers call ahead to place orders for things they like, or the specials that Cynthia offers, for every day meals or holidays. Cynthia is also very accommodating to host private groups, such as ladies lunch or family celebrations.

Our company Christmas party was held at Cynthia’s Murder Mystery themed event on pirate night. I would describe it as an interactive play. The staff were all kind, while putting on a show for 1.5 hours entertaining and interacting with our group, as pirates.
The menu was 5 courses. The main course of pot roast, mashed potatoes with gravy, and caramelized carrots were amazing. Same with the dessert, some sort of yummy dense chocolate cake.
The experience itself is alcohol free, and kid and family friendly. It’s a cute and wholesome event. The staff was passionate and kept the same energy from start to finish.

Attended a murder mystery dinner here and honestly it was awful. An absolute waste of money. The murder mystery isn’t very interactive at all. The acting is middle school play mediocre at best. And the food was horrid. You pay 45 $ for mostly inedible food. A soup that tasted like what you’d expect dog food to taste like. A salad with no dressing options . A dryer than the Sahara desert brownie. A small portion of pot roast and a scoop of box made mash potatoes and what I can only assume is canned gravy. It tasted like hospital food. Not worth going back in my opinion. I have bought homemade pretzels from Cynthia before and those were great .
