The hot chocolate was hot and creamy, though a little weak. But the pastries were pretty good. We had the Nutella croissant and an apple pinwheel. I loved the fire though, and it was cozy and warm. Price per person $1–10 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Awful! A bad ordering system and even worse staff. None of them look like they'd had much sleep, or a wash, for days. Some kid, that sort of worked there, with long hair and glasses was playing loud music and dancing like an idiot, while people, who had travelled around the globe, waited for this fool to make a coffee. We were there almost an hour. He let his friends jump a massive line of customers and thought it was funny that the customers were annoyed by it. With maybe 20 people left waiting for drinks the long haired glasses kid gave up making coffee leaving a stressed out hungover looking girl on her own. She was almost in tears and left to do all the work. It may have been a bad day for him, but from what I saw he's a bad colleague, bad employee, bad dancer, has bad taste in music and is bad at making coffee. Yosemite is out of this world, but this coffeeshop is not the way to start any of your days in the beautiful Yosemite valley. We had a much better all around experience in the, just as busy, Starbucks further up the valley. A cool guy, with devil horns starting to grow in his head, made us a good coffee. Waited nearly 30 minutes for two simple drinks. Absolutely horrible ordering system, where the cashier writes your name/drink, with a black marker, on a dark brown cup. And nobody (not even the baristas) can read what was written…simply genius! No labels or electronic system whatsoever to ensure drinks are made in the proper order either. Instead, the cashier just puts the cups in a haphazard “line” on the counter and the baristas just grab whatever cup/drink they feel like making. To make matters worse, the cashier kept putting her friend’s/coworkers drink orders in front of everybody else’s orders. Cashier also doesn’t listen, so she often wrote people’s names and drinks order incorrectly in the cups. It might be because the music was so loud in there. This all culminates in utter chaos as people try to find their drink and try to read what is written on the cups (again with black marker on a dark brown cup). This experience really started our day off on the wrong foot. NEVER again! Service Take out Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Zero sense of urgency at this location. Arrived at 7:39 and didn’t get our coffees and walk out the door till 8:15. Over 30 minutes to get just two coffees. Employees worked extremely slow in a very busy coffee shop. Fridge was barren of sandwiches options, zero, and the pastry options were limited. I would not recommend coming here if you are on a schedule or in general. Better coffee/food options in the valley. Like Degnans. On Tuesday August 15, 2023 at approximately 0937 hours, at the Peets in Curry Village, Yosemite, California I ordered 2 Large hot coffees with milk, 1 Croissant and 1 large hot Cocoa with milk. I was served the hot coffee and Croissant almost immediately. However, I had to wait almost 30 minutes to receive my hot Cocoa (which was for my daughter). Meanwhile, my coffee which was meant to be drunk together with my breakfast and family, became cold. I told the person making the drinks that I almost waited 30 minutes, and he stated that I need to be more patient. I also watched as another customer who was standing at the counter and watching him make the drinks was indirectly told, (the same batista told an employee that just got back from break), don't they know it's rude to stare doesn't matter where you are from I read that. At approximately 1005 hours I received my hot Cocoa. I am stunned by the slow unprofessional and hosttile towards foreigners behavior displayed by the company. At this point I am dissatisfied with my purchase and experience, and my coffee that had become cold. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
