This is a hidden gem and definitely worth a visit for drinks, dinner, or both. We went for happy hour and apps, which were phenomenal. The bang bang cauliflower is a must try. We also ordered chips and salsa and garlic fries which were great. The drinks were on point both with both looks and taste. The staff was some of the friendliest I’ve seen. The view of the river was breathtaking. You must try this spot. I’m visiting from out of state and giving an honest review. This place is an absolute hidden gem. New ownership and super vibey and tasty. The view is absolutely spectacular in any season and the staff is so so friendly, accommodating and sweet. The garlic Parmesan fries are so good as well as the bang bang cauliflower. Awesome little happy hour even on the weekend. We loved our girls time with yummy huckleberry lemon drop martinis. Definitely come here if you are in the area, you won't regret it!! Our new local meet up spot for sure. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
For a hotel restaurant... food is phenomenal. Definitely recommend the meatball app and the Monte Cristo was awesome. We have a slip in the marina below and finally decided to give the restaurant a try. The patio has a great view of the river and mountains but noise from Spokane St. Bridge is oppressive. We had a couple canned ciders (would have been nice to get glasses) and some polenta fries which were unusual and pretty good. My son had fish and chips. The fish was nice and tasty. My wife had the chicken marsala fingers which were a bad idea with bad execution. Breaded, soggy chicken fingers in a processed sauce. Probably a 1.5 out of 5. I had the Monte Cristo sandwich which was very good but came with a disappointing, onion laden salad. Service was good. Honestly, probably won't go back but had to say we gave it a try. We’re locals and have been through the ups and downs of this place over the years. With it’s new management, Gabriel definitely brings this place up several notches! All staff are friendly and engaging, they clearly enjoy their job. The food was exceptional. We indulged in the Land and Sea appetizer, the Berry Salad and a delicious Burger cooked to perfection. We topped it off with an absolutely delicious Strawberry Shortcake! So so good! The view was thoroughly enjoyable as we sat outside overlooking the Spokane River! Our server Jenna was fantastic and even took the time to bring our Golden a bowl of water on the deck. We will be back soon!! My wife and I were very impressed. They were slow when we went in, so it worried me a bit, but they did not disappoint. The food was beyond what I expected, and service was amazing. I got the fish and chips, and it was great. My wife got the Monte Cristo, and it was the best one we have ever had. I highly recommend giving them a try if you haven't yet. We are locals who somehow just hadn’t come here for dinner yet. What a mistake! We came on a Wednesday evening with a large party and received the most attentive service and delicious food! With such a large party, we were able to try most things on the menu, and nothing disappointed. I know they’ve gone through a series of chefs and menu revisions over the years, and I think they’ve now nailed it. Best fries I’ve had in northern Idaho outside Izzy’s, and excellent tacos, flatbreads, and fish and chips. For a restaurant attached to a hotel and slightly off the beaten path, this place deserves better patronage. We will certainly be back. We enjoyed our visit to Current Kitchen and highly recommend visiting the restaurant when in the area. Per Chef Gabriels recommendation we enjoyed the Korean Shrimp Tacos and Pork Taquitos. The flavors of both dishes where spot on. Very scenic location with a river view. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The view from the restaurant is enough for me to return but the food and service were just as great. The bar tender is excellent at his craft and the drink menu has unique drinks and familiar ones (both of which were great!) Our kids loved the sliders and gourmet mac n'. Hubby and I shared a flavorful, spicy serrano avocado burger and the fish and chips which were fried nice and crispy. The pork taquito appetizer was my favorite (and pretty, right?).
