This is a well-established, quaint little restaurant that packs in the Southern hospitality! It certainly appears to be a hit among senior citizens/the retired population. They insured a full house Saturday (2/24/24) as my husband and I dined, and we've noticed this occurring each time we have visited. The customer service is fantastic!!! Shout out to our waitress, Bethany. The food is good, fresh and mildly flavored...just right. The prices are very reasonable, despite the inflation that's happening everywhere else nearby. It's very clean (even the restrooms), and that is important to us. My husband and I will continue to patronize this good business, and we recommend it to others. We were looking for somewhere new to eat breakfast. Cup & Saucer had great reviews, so we decided to give it a try. Upon entering, we were greeted warmly, and it was a great experience from that point on. Our server was amazing. I took her suggestion and tried the red velvet waffle, and hubby ordered the philly cheese omlet. The restaurant has a country, homey feel. I noticed some of the customers were regulars because the staff knew their names. We enjoyed our food very much and are happy to have come across it. Great place to have a quick breakfast and/or lunch. Very courteous staff and the food was served in a very reasonable time. We didn’t have to wait on a Sunday noon (luckily one table for four was open). I wish they were open later in the day too (closes around 2:00 PM). We will definitely go back to this family owned local restaurant. Paying by cash will save the credit card fees. Love this place. First diner we went to intentionally when we arrived in Georgia. They make you feel like at home, very cozy, familiar, kind, and respectful. No rush, lots of coffee and breakfasts all day long! I'm so sorry that they had to reduce their operating hours. Hidden gem! Tiny place with big flavor. Great service and food was excellent! One of best place for country fried steak! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Uncle Beef's Steak & Eggs
Good service. Food was good. I don't feel it was anything special. The Cinnamon Roll Waffle didn't have anything noticeably Cinnamon Roll about it. I didn't taste any Cinnamon or Brown Sugar. The icing wasn't even right, while good, it was more whipped frosting you'd find on a cake...not a Cinnamon Roll. I am a huge Cinnamon Roll Pancake/Waffle/French Toast foodie and this just wasn't one....or not enough of one to notice it. That said, it wasn't a bad plain waffle, just not what I wanted. Hashbrowns were good also, just average. Nothing to write home about. My sons chocolate chip pancake was thin...not fluffy as the menu states....at all...and he didn't feel it had enough chips. They have a lot of competition though with me, I have eaten breakfast in some amazing places all over.

This was our 7th or 8th visit here, but the first time I manged to snag a photo of the food before digging in. We first stumbled upon this place by happenstance on a random Saturday looking for somewhere different to grab breakfast. Good reviews, local, and we'd never heard of it. Perfect combination. Imagine our surprise when we pulled up to what was obviously a former Waffle House, our great Southern Staple, and we walked in to find what was, for all intents and purposes, a knock-off of our beloved yellow and black diner. That is where, however, the similarities ended. Yes, it does present the standard fare for an open air, griddle-fed breakfast experience. But turned up a notch. The staff, Shelly, in particular, are all very accommodating and pleasant. The food is wonderful, and priced fairly. Portions are large (the included photo was for a party of 3, for 50 or so bucks), and of course cooked to order. Personal favorites are the country fried steak and sausage gravy and biscuits. Of note, the gravy is fantastic and has actual sausage in it, a rarity. All in all this is an elevated quick-dining experience in a familiar setting run by down-to-earth people, 10/10 would recommend. Love this little cafe! My friend and I meet there regularly and the waitresses are so sweet and accommodating. They have a smile on their face and at least give you the feel they care about your needs. The food and coffee are good. I love their fluffy biscuits. This place seems to be a favorite among the locals because it is packed but I have not had a long wait. Definitely recommend!
