For the prices you pay here high quality food would be the expectation but that is not quite the case. The free tortillas are great but the rare steak I got was way too chewy so maybe not buy a steak if you ever visit this steakhouse. The atmosphere and service were quite good. We sat down, and there was a massive crack across the table. My guest's wife snagged the sleeve of her new top on the crack, and my daughter snagged the sleeve of her new sweatshirt. My daughter got a splinter, and even her hair got caught. There was a significant, pointed edge that protruded from the table's edge. The silverware on the table did not match. We had 3 different types of steak knives, and one of them had broken teeth on it. Culpepper Queso $11.82. No description is provided on any of its ingredients other than it is served with warm chips. When it hit the table, I was not clear that it was the queso. It is served in a small white bowl, about 2/3 full. We did not finish it. It was tepid when it hit the table and had a film over it. Crispy Calamari $18.82. There was no description besides "citrus Thai chili sauce" underneath it. The sauce was great, however, the calamity was just terrible. It was greasy, and not crispy. The breading was thin, like a flour coating, enough to soak grease. The flesh was dense and very chewy. There were only 8 pieces, and we did not finish. Meatballs$14.82. "House-made meatballs with voodoo sauce." This was served with 5 meatballs, each slightly larger than a ping-pong ball. They were good, and we did eat all 5 of them. The sauce was okay. I'm not sure what is in the voodoo sauce, as once again, no descriptions were given. Crab Stack $19.82 "Fresh lump crab, lime, mango, cucumber, cilantro, radish, and avocado, served with warm tortilla chips." The crab was not seasoned, it just tasted like the green mush below it, which had no seasoning. There was some type of yellow sauce drizzled on top and there is no way it was lime, it was a little sweet. With the first ingredient listed as crab on the menu, we were ALL expecting more crab, especially for the price tag. This whole plate tasted like nothing but unseasoned avocado mashed up. Meal 1. 14oz Prime Ribeyes $52.82, ordered medium rare with a loaded baked potato(+$2.49) with a Caesar salad and a Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage (+9.82) - It was served medium rare and was seasoned very well. Nothing wrong to say about it. The meat was tender, juicy, and cooked correctly, and he loved the cheddar sausage. The sausage had a great char by being butterflied open and seared. Meal 2. 14oz Prime Ribeyes $52.82, ordered medium rare with a loaded baked potato(+$2.49) with a Caesar salad. My steak was undercooked on one end and overcooked on the other. Blue Rare would be the term I would use. It was cold in the center, with just the outside being cooked. The other end of my steak somehow was cooked to medium well. It had a thin, hot pink line. I have never had this experience before, and the only thing I can figure out is the flame went out or something under one side. I do not know, but it was odd. I still ate most of the steak, I did not eat the far side that was way under cooked or the totally over cooked other end, so I was left with maybe 70% of edible steak. Meal 3. 9 oz C.A.B. Filet - $46.82 Ordered medium to medium rare with Caser salad and mashed potatoes. It was raw. Not rare, not blue rare, raw. The outside was seared a bit, but the inside of the steak was cold. She asked if she could get a new steak. The steak was brought back a few minutes later and was not only still uncooked in the middle but was cut into 3 pieces by whoever put it on the grill. Meal 4 – 24oz C.A.B.Porterhouse $79.92 ordered medium rare for two with loaded mashed potatoes, a loaded baked potato (+$2.49), and two Caesar salads. It was overcooked. The steak was served medium well. The steak was dry, and the only thing that gave it moisture was the butter served on top. We ordered desserts, a chocolate cake, and a key lime pie. The cake was good. Very light chocolate flavor, and it was dense and fluffy at the same time. It seemed that these are made and kept in a refrigerator for periods of time. The key lime pie crust was soggy and tasted like the inside of a fridge. Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Went here to have dinner and drinks for our 40th wedding anniversary , we had not been here in years since it closed and reopened, I can say my wife and I were very pleased with changes and menu. The inside dining area and outside patio are well designed and set up. The menu is Texas style with all the steaks, chicken fish and sides a Texan can expect, one item that stood out was deep fried Lobster which my wife and I tried and I will say that it was DELICIOUS, if you go there you have to try it ,PHENOMENAL, server was very attentive and manager came by twice and checked on everything. They also have live music on certain days and atmosphere is excellent, wife and myself and even friends will be back Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This was a great experience! I dined in alone and everyone greeted me and treated me with the utmost respect. About 3 different people asked me how my meal was and my server never missed a step. This was my first time and im from Baton Rouge but I’ll always remember and recommend this place! And the filet was by far the best Ive had!
