The atmosphere was okay. The space was small and filled with tacky decor, and I mean tacky in the nicest sort of way - you know, the kind that probably never was in style except at grandma's. The owners were interesting. The old man was the sweetest person you'll ever meet. The old woman wanted nothing but to take our order, and she was unmoved by our jokes. Ultimately, the only real issue was that they only accepted cash. In 2023. Seriously. But the food was excellent, and I will go back for that reason alone. The first thing they told me is that the prices are not correct in the menu everything is $4 more. Do I want the menu after that intro? I didn't feel welcome. The soup was warm not hot. Mexican on a budget, still, the flavor is pretty good for what it's worth. Restaurant is small and the menu is limited though the price is right for the quality of materials used for the dishes... I would have liked pulled meat or steak in my enchiladas, instead i get served ground beef. Hey, I'm just spoiled. It's evident that this place is family owned which by me is great, it's a safe place for kids and wife. Bring cash as it's the only method of payment at this establishment, oh and the waitress is not the patient type, so make sure to know what you want because you'll get a blunt response. It can be off-putting if you're the sensitive type but she's not a bad person, so cut her slack please and leave a tip if you get the food fast and hot. Will never return to this place. My husband ordered a chicharone burrito. The chicharones were rancid. My husband told the waitress and asked to order something else. The waitress returned to say that Cuca would not make another meal for him and suggested another restaurant. His comment was not to offend, but to make them aware so that they wouldn't continue serving them and losing additional customers.

DO NOT GO HERE. Everything about it is sub-par but the owners are outright miserable. They also kicked a friend of mine out for having a service dog, which is illegal. There are plenty of better places nearby that have the same prices. If you look at the positive reviews that put them above 4 stars on average, they come mostly from quite a while back before they started getting a lot of 1 stars. This is a 1 star restaurant. Not sure if they changed ownership or just don’t care anymore but just go somewhere else.

This was an amazing place to eat. If you are looking for food like grandma made this is it! One of the best meals I have had on the road. Delicious fresh meal, I had the carnitas,Husband had 2 burritos chile was so tasty,, so good ,I had to save some for breakfast, very generous portion, My husband and I got to enjoy The time with cook,waitress, and others eating there,it was Very Pleasant. And very good,,they have fresh food ,You can hear the food being cooked in a pan,,We will be back for more good meals, God Bless These People and the people that come to enjoy their delicious meals,,Thank You.,
