Great family place forsure. One thing I was absolutely surprised about was they had a separate gluten free menu. So for all of you that have Celiac like me, you do not have to worry as the variety in the menu is quite large compared to a lot of other establishments. Service was good, food was great, and the atmosphere felt like home in a way. Don't really know how to explain that one, but was just a feeling. I've gone by this place so so many times over the years and this was my first time here....and enjoyed it a lot. So make sure you stop by one of their Metro locations and feast. It was our first time at Crispelli’s Bakery and Pizzeria - Clarkston. They were not very busy but food and the waitress were slow. My husband had Pepperoni pizza he said it was ok and I had Patty Melt it was good but I’m not crazy about Mediterranean Salad. The price was reasonable and the whole place looks nice. Crispelli's Pizza is a favorite. The crust is thin with a nice bready chewy edge. The white pie is the best veg pizza I have had. It is a garlic and artichoke pizza and the only veg pizza I will order over a pizza with pepperoni, onions and olives. All pizzas are cooked to order in their stone pizza oven in an elevated kitchen that you can observe from the dining room. Great pizza. This is one of my favorite places when I come down state to visit my mother. Everything is always wonderful, last night though we came in almost at closing time and the server was a little short with us. I think she just wanted to get home and I can't really blame her.. UPDATE 8/23 I stopped back in and man, was it ever wonderful!!! Just as suspected, last time was a fluke- DO yourself a favor and don't miss this place when you're in the area!!! We've been wanting to try something new and have driven by Crispellis so many times on our way home but just never took the time. Today I decided was the day so I ordered on line which was awesome to be able to do to have it ready at a specific time later. My husband picked it up on his way home and oh my gosh!!! It was better than I ever expected and now we are sorry that we never took the time before. All I can say is it is absolutely amazing!!! I've never written a bad review, I ordered my food at 4:38, to be ready at 6:15. I had to ask three times for my food. They said it was burnt and had to remake one of the two pizzas I ordered. 6:45, is when I finally got my order. They said it just came out, yet when I drove 8 mins home, it was cold. The food is still burnt.... to top it off someone walked in at 6pm and had their pizza at 6:20... they need help organizing a busy Friday night. Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

My husband and I decided to try a new place we have never been and he found this little gem! Our waitress Hanna was outstanding! She gave the best service all night. I recommend the chicken Parmesan with a Caesar side salad. The chicken was amazingly flavored and the juiciest piece of meat I've had in a while! Can't wait to come back! My wife and I went to Crispelli's for the first time after driving by the restaurant for 3years and we were pleasantly surprised with the cool atmosphere and tasty food. We had the Detroit Deep Dish style pizza and antipasta salad and both were fabulous along with there homemade bread rolls...that are a must have with any meal! Our experience would have not been as special as it was if it wasn't for the great service that we received from Serena! She was very welcoming and answered all of our questions we had since we were new to the restaurant. Serena really took the time to take care of us as if we were family. I love these pizzas. They are delicious! Also the royal oak location has the most amazing chocolate croissants 🥐. I always order online and they are punctual with the time. Highly recommended!
