What a great find. This is a clean, bright, and Southern atmosphere restaurant. We ate here twice while staying at a nearby RV park. The food was VERY good, especially the catfish and shrimp. We also enjoyed the Boudin balls.

Amazing food, amazing people. Had a wonderful time here. The “broom” ceiling fan, the history on the walls, the down home welcoming feeling, cannot say enough good things. Was able to visit with Drew, a committed young man who goes above and beyond and knows how to cook a great meal. Loved our lunch so much, already made plans for steak dinner on Thursday night. Don’t miss this place!!!!!!

Best hidden treasure. Chef Drew hosted a luncheon today for our Birthday club. The room was beautiful. The food and service was on point. Everyone raved about their meal. I had BBQ lunch special and the chicken was so juicy. Pulled pork was excellent. Dessert is the best chocolate fried cheesecake with caramel topping. Ware your stretch pants. We will be back soon
My fiancé and I have eaten at this restaurant many times. Tonight, we ordered and went pick it up. We both got the hamburger steak, which we have had before. But, tonight, it was terrible. The hamburger steak was so dry and the potatoes tasted weird. Very disappointed. :( Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30
The burgers were so amazing! Got to meet the new owner Drew who was just as amazing as his burgers. He himself served and cooked for us. The care and dedication to his craft and the customer service was more than what was to be expected. A great place for good times with the family and again great food.
I’m so happy living at Poche especially being able to frequent The Crevasse!! Drew is an awesome guy and the food is fantastic!! The daily specials are always great and prices are wonderful. I go a couple times a week and have always been satisfied!! The Deep fried cheesecake is yummy 😋 don’t miss out!!
Second visit to the wonderful, quaint restaurant in Convent, LA. Worth the scenic drive down River Rd. for the delicious food. Portions are perfect and priced right. The deserts are awesome too. We suggest the fried cheesecake and peach cobbler. Yummy!!! Give this restaurant a try. You won’t be disappointed. Earned 5 stars for sure. We will definitely be back.
Despite Drew only having one employee show up and it being her first day, the food was out in a reasonable time and was delicious. I've been here before too and I have never been disappointed.
