This was my 1st visit to Hattiesburg and was informed about this seafood restaurant, so I decided to try it. I must say I was impressed by the delightful service. I ordered the catfish over jambalaya and a cup of seafood gumbo. The gumbo to me was okay but not something I would order again as it was lacking in the flavor department. Now, the catfish dinner was on point, it had great flavor the seasoning was on point the breading on the fish had a nice crisp, although I'm not certain why mushrooms were on the dish as they are not needed to make this dish a 5 star. My server was on point as she made some suggestions and gave a as to what she liked and what was ordered the most. Overall the atmosphere was very nice and next time I'm in town I'm definitely coming here for dinner. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

The food is always delicious. This visit, the shrimp poboys and fries were a bit cold by the time they got to our table, the restaurantwas busy and we had to sit by the bar which made the service a bit slower... The burger was missing the onions, but the server was very friendly and brought them to me once I showed her. The sensation salads were super saturated, but they brought us an extra plate with some lettuce to mix in, which really helped, and it really was good. Despite these issues, it was all very tasty. Passing through Hattiesburg a couple times a month and always getting mostly drive-thru junk but today I felt like something different so I searched for a top rated restaurant and found this cornerstone institution gem . The second I walked in I knew I found exactly what I was looking for , the atmosphere the ambiance and very clean establishment was perfect but how was the food? Ordered the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer and it was the best I've ever had! Also order corn chowder and it was amazing and then shrimp and grits for the main entree and I've had this before. Several different places with this was by far the best ever had. It was unbelievable Even better than waffle House lol Our server Joe was a great help to recommend some Very good dishes. We were blessed to have him as our server because we never needed to ask for anything he was on top of everything! I would Love to give this place 10🌟 stars but Google only allows 5 🌟. I can't wait to come to town And as a matter of fact, I just may see myself back there just for the restaurant. Even though I live 2 hours away, it is well worth it !!! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Recommended dishes White Chocolate Bread Pudding
Up-scale New Orleans restaurant in Mississippi? Yes, please! Excellent selection of food and beverages. It's in a College town, so there's an extensive list of alcohol for people who drink it. We got the crab wontons as an appetizer, and they were fantastic! They were house made and absolutely delicious. The sauce was really good too. I ordered the ham and cheese special, asked for it to be open faced and they happily obliged. Husband ordered the Shrimp Po' Boy, cheddar grits and Gumbo and really liked them. Our waitress, Taylor, was quick, friendly, offered personal recommendations and was knowledgeable about the food and establishment, which is always a plus! We're moving to Hattiesburg soon, from New Orleans, so we will DEFINITELY be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had a great late lunch today! The rest of the table got sandwiches and poboys, I got the house salad with chicken! Server was attentive and checked in on us often, prices were fair, and food was excellent! Definitely a hidden gem in Hattiesburg! Can’t wait to come again for dinner! Absolute great food. Place was full of patrons because it's a great place for Cajun food and pizzas. Burgers and other items too. Over the bar is a picture of Drew Brees in royal garb. Funny. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
A nice dinner spot for our large family get-together. We were seated in a small dining room near the entrance that held us comfortably. We started with appetizers: Fried Green Tomatoes, Crabmeat Wontons & Stuffed Mushrooms. The Mushrooms were the best! I really could only taste Cream Cheese in the Wontons, not Crab. For my entree, I selected Shrimp & Grits and opted out of the Tomatoes. It was an ok dish, definitely not the best I’ve had. The Grits had a different consistency than I was accustomed to. I would not order again. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Stuffed Mushrooms

Very nice atmosphere & service. food was delicious. Nachos for appetizers were great. Also had a great spirit encounter, haha. Glass of sweet tea moved across the table by itself🫨 Will definitely be back again. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The service was great, the host plain and lack luster. He must've had an off day. The table was a little sticky, but that seems to be the thing around here. 1st order was the char'd oysters. They were good, a little too much cheese for me but eh. Didn't have a fish taste and some had little bits of sand, which means they probably didn't come from a farm. The jambalaya was lazy as it tasted like bootleg Mexican rice with half a quarter slice of sausage bit. The crab cake BLT BLEW ME AWAY! It actually tasted like crab!! The waiter was nice and so was the trainee. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Chared Oysters on the Half Shell
