As a Louisiana native I’m very picky about my King cakes to the point where I refuse to buy one out a grocery store.A friends suggestion brought me here and I’m so glad they did, I bought the original king cake which on a scale to 10 was a definite 10. The smaller one I bought was the Bavarian cream and it’s even better. This will be my go to place for all my dessert baking needs. Do yourself a favor and stop by here. Always a great experience getting desserts from Crescent City. We had them make a few cakes for our holiday gatherings and we very much enjoyed them. Thanks for superior quality and service, we'll be back.

I was initially excited when my friend told me there was a place nearby that had beignets. We arrived just after opening and didn't have to wait at all for service at the counter. The person at the counter was friendly and let me know the pricing structure of the beignets; 3 for $5. I ordered 6. She let me know that they were made to order so a small wait was needed. It didn't take long at all and she was nice enough to bring the box of beignets out to us on the small patio in front. When we got home, we were dismayed that the first two out of the box had raw dough inside. After cutting the rest open we found that all 6 were raw in the middle.

I ordered a king cake and was assured that it would be fresh as it was for my husband's birthday and it was after mardi gras. So disappointed in the quality. It was dry and looked old. I purchased one during Mardi Gras and it was moist and very good. Also, the baby was just thrown in the box. It's the small green figure in the picture.
The BEST King Cake in Texas, EVER!!! I have too say? It will give Gambinos a run for its money! I heard they make doberge’ cakes as well- who’s ready for the REAL thing? And I am a native Nola girl

So we heard about this place through a foodie group and just had to try it out. First the service is amazing. We were hoping to get a Filled King Cake last minute before the weekend. They were more than happy to accommodate us. Now for the King Cake. Two words....MIND BLOWING! I have tried hundreds of King Cakes in my life and these are by far the best. The dough was extremely fresh and soft with just enough flakiness to give it balance. AND the strawberry cream cheese filling just AMAZING! Highly recommend yall try Crescent City out!
