Food was awful and very expensive, $200 for a family of 5. You can tell they don’t actually cook much of it, as it was mostly pre-packaged food warmed up. When spending that amount of $$, I would expect some of it to be handmade. Salmon was very overcooked, unseasoned, and had a whole bag of pecans just dumped on top of it. Prime rib and baked potato were pretty dry. Pizza was just ok, definitely not worth $12 for a 12”. Fries were like McDonalds fries.

Restaurant attached to the lodge. Nothing fancy. Indoor seating is pretty basic but the deck is nice if the weather permits.
Food is unfortunately just not very good. Appears to just be stuff they have premade that they just sort of heat up or slap together. Nachos were especially rough. Basically one step above what you get from a little league concession stand. It's definitely a good place to go in a pinch or if you ran out of food before your trip ends.
Service was solid. I don't know if they were understaffed or didn't expect the crowd on a random Wednesday night in November, but they were working their butts off.
Try the Piney River Brewing beer selection.

Don’t mean to sound so negative but we ate there last night and it was the worst meal that we spent $70 on (just 2 of us) in a long time. It truly was like a frozen tv dinner warmed to lukewarm at best in a microwave. We had the meatloaf that was described as bacon wrapped. Waiter said it was popular and good. It was mush with one lump string of bacon on it. The fries I will say were good temp and tasty. I expected a pretty nice place being inside of a lodge (something like Pere Marquette has) but this was a small room that looked more like the decor of a hospital cafe. Very basic and plain for as expensive as the menu items were. Will not be back. Service wasn’t bad but seemed to be partying in the kitchen a little more than should. Party next to us was complaining about their food and returning it. I just don’t do that.
